We head upstairs and I plot on the bed while Leila grabs her laptop. "Matt said they are doing a video on Friday and we can join if that is fine" I smile at her "well yeah that can work. I'll let you see your boyfriend" I wink at her "no labels yet, we just taking it slow" I scoff "slow?? On the third week is pretty slow if you ask me" She falls back on the bed and looks at me "do you think me and him can just be friends Nova?" I shrug "not really. Nick and Matt keep teasing me about that" She smiles "I think it is adorable" I shake my head. "You wanna go and get some pasta or something to eat?" I nod "we're walking!" I come to a halt and grab Chris when I see two familiar faces. Nova and Leila across from the street from we are. "Holy shit. How do I look Chris" I check my self in my phone "don't be too jumpy, you look good Matt" I sigh in relief. "Shouldn't be kissing people. I look at up while sipping my drink spotting Matt I spit out my drink. "Nova. Nova. Novaaa" I tap her lightly "don't look behind you"
She turns 360 to look behind her and jolts to look forward.

"Matt can we just go? It's obvious she is trying to avoid you." I look out into the distance spotting Nova and a smile comes from my face. "And it's obvious you like her...let's go." Matt rolls his eyes causing me to scoff.
We walk down the street and I spot someone who looks familiar. "Mae..?" I take a look at her and my shoulders drop, Matt notices my expression change. It wasn't her.
We take a walk down the street and see couples hold hands on the sidewalk and kiss. I close my eyes hoping that Maelie will wake up in my arms one day.
"Chris are you okay?" I look down and shake my head. "Hey kid it is okay" Matt rubs my back sympathetically "I see her everywhere I go Matt. I don't know" Matt nods.
"hey Mae" Chris smiles giving her hug. "Hi Chris!!" She hugs him back. "How was your day?" She walks towards her locker and pulls in her textbooks "It was great" He says excitedly "oh uhm Mae.. I was wondering...do you wanna go out sometime... it doesn't have to be a date or anything.. Just like us two and we hang out watch the sunset." He nervously fiddled with his fingers "Yes but Chris I have to tell you something." She weakly smiles at him looking down "Okay..Tell me later then! I'll listen." She nods and walks off. ————————

"Isn't the sun so beautiful?" He looks at her "Yeah it is! But you know what the sun reminds me of?" He tilts his head "You. Your smile literally lights up the room." His cheeks become a bright red tint and his eyes lights up.
He continued to glare at her side profile admirably "Maelie?" She gazes at him "Can we dance?" She nods and holds his hand "Promise me you won't fall in love with me Chris." He looks at her with a shocked look "Why?" She turns away "I'm dying soon Chris." His eyes softened and his tears ran down his face "Okay I won't..but Can we dance this one time"
The way they swayed along with the aligned stars made them feel like it was forever but her heart stopped and his heart kept going.
