The following morning me and Kalao set back to HQ to start our expedition. We still have to get the Grandmaster’s approval and let us go to the Kingdom of Raque. While everything is happening a lot of questions remain a mystery, but we believe that we might answer most of them when we make it to Raque.
We made it to the headquarters, we immediately reported everything to Akira and told her about the request of my Father. She agreed with his decision and gave us permission to leave the base tomorrow very early in the morning. Akira already told everyone else in the team about the expedition.
“Yay! Another expedition after soooooo long!” said Hari in excitement.
“Yea I do agree with you Hari it has been awhile.” Replied Diamond.
“But you guys do know that this is a serious expedition right?” Larra said.
“Yes, it is very serious since this could give us a huge step towards the missing crystal.” I said to everyone.
“That’s very true you highness, we should take this in a more serious matter.” AJ said.
Everyone sighed, but they do have to agree with me and AJ. This expedition isn’t a vacation in any aspect. These expeditions aren’t like other common expeditions given like searching for more materials and many more, but these expeditions are very strict and even a bit violent.
Knights are expected to be on their highest guard whenever they are searching a kingdom regarding to the missing crystal. They have to use the maximum of their capabilities to seek the truth. This even led to an injury because of the overuse of their magical auras.
Then again, the Royal Knights force has been doing this for the past seven years ever since of the disappearance of the moon crystal and the death of my brother. We haven’t even found the murderer and thief behind all this chaos.
We started to prepare our materials, gadgets and weapons before we set off to our destination. While we were preparing, Hari pulled me aside for a second. She told me she suddenly had a weird feeling about the whole expedition since Diamond said some odd information. They were discussing the expedition but then Diamond said what was on her mind.“I believe this whole situation.. is all a plan.” Said by Diamond.
I told Hari that I also believe there must be a plan behind all of this. I explained that me and Kakari discussed about the whole thing and it came to a conclusion that it must be a plan from someone or some people. She was shocked with this new information and she started to feel uneasy.
But we don’t have much of a choice but follow this expedition requested from my own father, the king. We continued preparing our things and shortly after we waved our goodbyes to the fellow knights and went off to the kingdom of Raque.
During the journey, we would take stops for resting, eating or sometimes sleeping since travelling to one kingdom and another can take awhile. At those times when we would stop we would make plans and tactics in case if anything happens in the area. These tactics were very practical so we have to remain on our highest guard.
Days and nights passed by and we were getting close to the Raque. Along the way I asked Diamond to help me sense the magical aura if its ‘odd’. And when we were miles away, I felt overwhelmed. Diamond also informed me about the aura and it was slowly getting suffocating. Everyone else didn’t feel it until we made it near the barrier.
The aura was very dense and everyone felt it through their shivering bones. We took a short break before our investigation. We sat at the neighboring forest beside the kingdom and talked about the plan and the preparations.
Some of us slept, ate and sat at their own worlds in this forest. We were quite distracted with the overwhelming amount of magical aura in the area and Diamond was about to pass out from exhaustion. Good thing Larra was there to help him recover quickly or else we might not finish this expedition on time. This was extremely dangerous if someone like diamond could pass out that easily from this aura. After a few hours later I decided that I should investigate the barrier even closer. Everyone said that it would be dangerous since the aura is so intense that it even made one of us almost pass out from a distance.
“Princess, I think its best if I should assist you to this barrier.” Kalao said.
“No Kalao… it is alright, ill send a signal if anything happens. I promise ill be on high alert.” I replied.
Kalao nodded and made sure I had all my preparations ready. And I went to the barrier to see it standing over the whole kingdom of Raque. It had a purple and pink tint with a lot of magical aura. I wasn’t reaching my limit just yet when I was a few steps away from it.
As I was walking towards it, I suddenly felt my chest aching. It came out of the blue when I held my hand near, and it was getting more painful each moment. I tried to gasp for more air and it almost felt like I’m getting suffocated in a small room with little to no air. As my vision started to blur, I managed to send a signal to the others.
I felt my body getting light on the grassy planes near the kingdom and I couldn’t move. But I heard my team members crying out my name in the distance. And soon enough, I see nothing but darkness.
“Agent *438na*, Agent *438na*! Get up! Your training isn’t over yet!”
“You want to surpass everyone, right? Then get up and show us your capabilities!”
“Do this for your murdered father! Your mother and brother are counting on you!”
“*438na*… stay safe my sweetest daughter. Mommy is always going be proud of you. ”
“Captain! Lets get a drink for our success!”
“Captain *438na*… I want to be your rival.”These voices… are so familiar. Who are you ‘people’? Are you the humans from my dream years ago? What is it that you want from me?
Moments later, I felt warm and I heard crackles of fire near me. I opened my eyes, and I was laying down in a comfortable blanket. It turns out that I passed out due to the amount of aura that was in the area. Everyone was worried since a Samira can’t even handle this amount of aura.
Everybody kept asking me if I was hurt anywhere or if I still felt dizzy at the moment. Diamond also wanted to ask me some questions regarding the things that had happened when I was near the magical barrier.
“So, princess.. what happened exactly when you were near the barrier?”
“I didn’t feel anything when I was a few feet away, but when I took a few steps forward, my chest suddenly started aching. I also had a hard time breathing.” I replied to Diamond.
“That was also what I was feeling when I was about to pass out earlier… how strange.” Said Diamond.
“It seems like the effect is equal to all creatures who have high senses with magical auras when they are in extremely high areas.” AJ said in conclusion.
“But, there’s something I haven’t told you all yet.” I told them.
“What is it your highness?” Hari asked in concern.
“I… heard voices.” I replied.
