CHAPTER 8 "TWISTED FATE"

Standing infront of us, was a completely differrent person. He wasn't the same Henry that I have known in years. He was a well behaved boy with a sweet smile. Now, he had an eerie smirk on his pale white face. Staring into suffocating eyes feels heavy to the stomach, and even to my heart.
I couldn't utter a word because of the betrayal I felt at that moment.

"Henry, this must be a misunderstanding. This isn't you! Please stop this!" I begged.

"Well, you can't over power me Samira. I am just as powerful as you!" He exclaimed proudly.

"This was fun and all, but it's time to say bye bye Samiras!"

I started to feel weak to the knees while feeling the pressence of the magical aura. I tried to restrain Henry from going any further into killing me and my sister with all of the remaining strength i have left. I kept fighting my own friend just to save my kingdom, but is he still my friend now? He betrayed me, and my kingdom.

Why would he do this? Just before I could strike him again, he was about to blow the whole place up. I didn't even know that it was possible with the powers of the moon crystal. My vision started to get blurry, and I heard my sister screaming something out of the distance, and then I eventually passed out.

"*438na*, Papa needs to go to work for a little while, be a good girl when I'm gone, okay?"

"I'm so sorry for your loss, Mrs. *$^0''*"

"*438na** $^0''* Captain of party 16, congratulations."

"Ma'am I promise you something out there assassinated our Captain, I even have proof! Just give me more time to give you all more proof!"

"****,  Stop making such nonsense! Like the doctor said, If she doesn't wake up at her expected time, then we have to pull the plug and officially make you team Captain, Got that understood!?"

I gasped as I woke up from the dream I just had, but I also heard many cries and screams as I was opening my eyes to see clearly. It turns out Kalao was carrying me while running away from the palace. Everyone else was running for their lives as more of the mysterious crystals started growing from the ground and injuring many. There were also a lot of citizens left behind to die while saving the rest of us.

"Kalao! Put me down! Those people need help!" I cried out.

"We are running out of time princess! And those people are getting trapped in dark magic domes. Let's keep going!" Kalao said while he tried to catch his breath.

When I looked around, I saw AJ and Larra helping the others catch up. They were trying their best to save everyone, until AJ started to get weaker every second. Larra was trying to encourage him to keep going so they would survive. Then I witnessed something that would change Larra for a long time. While they were running, Something grabbed AJ and made him fall to the ground and he was stuck in the crystals from the ground.
"AJ! Hang in there, I will get you out of here, just stay calm." Larra reassured him.

"Larra, keep going! I'll try to get out of here on my own! Just save yourself!" AJ cried out.

"I'm not going without you AJ!"

"There's no time, please you're gonna die too if you stayed."

"That would be better than leaving you alone again!"

"Please, just- take my scarf. I'll make sure I'll catch up with you. Please, let the Samira guide you!"

I regained some energy and grabbed Larra to make her move forward from the crowd, while AJ stood there giving me a look of 'Thank you'. But she was crying while looking back at the crowd, while finding AJ. I knew what she felt, she felt like she betrayed him since she left him to rot, but it was already too late.

During this chaos, alot of the citizens were in fear, and many where taken or something- I honestly don't know what happened to those people who got left behind! Cries and commotion filled the air through out my beloved Kingdom. What will happen now? My parents are dead, I can't find my sister in the huge crowds of people and I don't know why my own friend would do this.

Henry, took my whole future. He killed my parents. He destroyed my kingdom. But yet, I don't want to have deep hatred for him, I don't know why he'd do this in the first place. I must know the truth, we must know the truth.
But, right now we have to evacuate everyone. I wanted to find the other knights to give them more orders. Kalao said they are all scattered but Akira was possibly in front of the crowd. I told him that I would go in front to help her and he told me to be careful. I called out for guardian Silē to take me to Akira.

I made it to the front lines and saw civilians injured, and even out of breath from running. The whole sea of people were just half way out of the whole kingdom, and one by one more people were falling behind.

"Princess!" Akira cried out.

"What is going on? Everything just happened so suddenly! The whole kingdom went frantic!" Akira explained, while catching her breath.

"I don't know, This was all Prince Henry's doing. He has the missing Crystal!" I explained.

"What? Okay, tell us the details once we get to our destination, please ride on one of the horses. We can't risk getting our princess in danger." Akira replied, while she continued to look after the citizens from a higher ground.

In the crowd, I managed to find Diamond and Hari riding our party's cart with a few injured citizens along with them.

"Viliua! Have you seen Larra? We need her to heal these people, they're greatly injured." Diamond asks while trying to comfort the injured citizen.

"She's with Kalao, They are both on their way here." I replied.

"Wait, I thought Larra would be with AJ. Aren't they suppose to help the citizens evacuate?" Hari asked in confusion.

"AJ... Was left behind." I sighed.

Diamond and Hari were shocked with the news. But the sadness was already written all over their faces. I couldn't blame them, we already lost one of our team members. But we also knew that other knights were left behind just like AJ.

Moments later, Akira flew over our cart and asked me if I was sure that we could head to kingdom of Valentina. I told her that it was the safest option, we don't know if there other six civilations in Katria are safe to stay at.
At this point we were still far away from Valentina but still quite close to Katria's main kingdom. But I had an idea in mind. I tried to fly up towards Akira with the help of the Sun Crystal, Argus. And the light crystal, Silē

When I met Akira, I told her that I could Teleport everyone to the outside boarder of Valentina, But it will take alot of my energy, but it could save us some time. Akira was skeptical at first, and even told me that I could ask some of the knights or even the citizens for some help. I told her not to worry, and I could do this. Akira finally agreed and informed all the knights to be prepared. While I started my spell.

I summoned Sile again to begin the spell.
"Master, I know you already got the hang of casting your magic with the two of us. But this spell could cause you alot of pain and loss of energy." Silē said in concern.

"Its alright Sile. My mother taught me well." I replied coldly.

They both nodded, and we began our spell. Slowly but surely our spell was forming over the whole crowd of people. Maintaining the strength of the magic while ensuring the safety of the people, the spell was finished and successful.

Suddenly I felt my hands going numb, and my head beggining to hurt. I tried to call out for Akira, but nothing came out of my mouth. And I suddenly began to fall from the sky.
