The courtyard was adorned with vibrant decorations, echoing the joyous spirit of Rakshabandhan. Rajvansh brothers, Hriday, Advait, and Jay were surrounded by their sisters, laughter, and cheer filling the air as they tied rakhis on their wrists.
After tying rakhi on Hriday's wrist, Gauri, Siya, and Meera, their eyes sparkling with excitement, demanded gifts from him on the occasion of Rakshabandhan
"Bhaiya, where's our gift? You remember to bring it right? I hope this time i get what i am manifesting!"
Meera scoffed, hearing gauri ranting about her excitement for the gift. However, Siya giggled hearing her sister-in-law's cute demand.
"Yes, bhaiya. The gift should be special, you know the baby is about to get his special gift from his bade papa."
Siya also put her wish of gift to him, making him more guilty, reminding of the upcoming baby.
"Bhabhs, the gift must be neutral, demand this. What if the baby comes out as 'her' but not 'him'..."
All family laughed hearing Jay's comment.
However, Hriday's mind had been preoccupied with work and seeking forgiveness from his sisters for his past mistakes. He had forgotten to buy gifts, and his younger brothers were quick to tease him about it in front of the family.
Just as Hriday was about to apologize, Anjana appeared with three beautifully wrapped boxes, saving him from embarrassment. "I found these in your room, Hriday. You must have forgotten them there for safekeeping," she said with a gentle smile.
All three girls smilingly accepted their gifts. Siya was the first one to open her gift. She was a golden 'om' pendant with a thin designer gold chain. She smiled at him and tears welled up seeing the gift. Unable to stop himself, Hriday moved forward and hugged her and promised to always be there for her.
Followed by meera, she found a new designer logo of her boutique 'Kala by Meera' engraved with an illustration of her garment on platinum silver plate photo frame.
Meera excitedly went to him and thanked her brother. Gauri waited for her chance and also atlast opened her gift. The moment she opened her gift, she screamed loudly, making everyone shocked. Her mother, Veena, glared at her, but the girl never looked at her.
There was a set of medicine books which she was looking for a very long time as the author just released the limited edition of book set.
"Bhaiiii sa, how did you get these? You know the author published only 151 sets and never republished it. I was looking for this for so long."
Hriday chuckled and pecked her forehead, followed by ruffling her hair lovingly.
