A groan echoed inside of an unusually bright classroom.
No one was there except for a peculiar short light brown-haired girl with her head planted on top of a wooden desk.
She lay her head for a moment before she fully woke up, another tired sound escaped her lips as she finally lifted her head, scanning the room as it was still blurry.
After her vision returned to normal, she sat straight, looking shocked at the unfamiliar strange place she ended up in.
Immediately, what caught her attention were the bright walls with a strange pattern to them with dark wood wall trim and the huge giant blackboard upfront.
As she looked around, she saw that she was the only one in here with her being in the middle of the room in a seat with no one around her being the other seats beside her.
Then, Sumire's eyes trailed down to a piece of paper on top of the desk that she had fallen asleep on. Picking it up, she read it silently.
'The next semester is about to start. Starting today, this school will be your entire world.' It spoke.
She looked around, raising an eyebrow at something particular at a strange sight of what seemed to be metal plates with heavy bolts sealing it tightly to what she thought was meant to be a classroom.
She stood up from her chair to take a closer look, tapping it to confirm it.
Then the little girl looked up to see a huge surveillance camera at the corner of the classroom. She stared at it before shrugging it off.
'Is this Hope's Peak? It's not like what I imagined it to be...' Sumire thought. 'The desks are a bit big for my size, though. But... how did I get here? All I can remember was that I think I collapsed and then I was brought here.'
Her mind began thinking of the worst answers and possibilities. 'What if... I was kidnapped!? Maybe I was kidnapped to an unknown place, and they knocked me out!?'
'But then again...' Sumire frowned, looking at the paper in her hand. 'Why bring me to a school?... Maybe this IS Hope's Peak... Perhaps I collapsed out of exhaustion and a teacher brought me here? But... then... where is everyone?'
'...The orientation guide at the back of that letter said that staff would guide me.'
It was then Sumire realized that she didn't backpack anymore, she looked around, wondering if she had lost it or someone misplaced it. But she couldn't find any sight of it around the classroom.
'...Okay, Sumi, calm down... maybe... maybe the person who brought you took your stuff to make sure no one would steal it...? Gosh, what's going on!?'
Finally having enough, Sumire decided to step out of the classroom to go look for someone.
But when she walked out, her eyes were wide as she stared at the unusual hallway that had strange colored lights all around and the flooring being black and white tiles that already felt odd for a school.
'...This is nothing like Koga's high school building. Why does the elementary have such strange lights?' She frowned but shrugged as she walked around the hallways.
She passed by a few doors to her, but she couldn't open the ones that caught her interest. And when she advanced further, none of the other doors around were opening and it made her confused.
Not to mention, she was completely alone in the hallway. No teachers or students around. She tried not to think that she was being kidnapped again.
Sumire noticed a large double glass door that was opened, she walked over and stepped inside.
