"Mm, ahem, this is a school announcement. It is now 10 p.m. As such, it is officially nighttime. Soon the doors to the dining hall will be locked, and entry at that point is strictly prohibited. Okay then...sweet dreams, everyone! Good night, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite..."
Sumire watched as the monitor turned off after playing the usual announcement, she stared at it before turning back to play in her laptop. The Li'l Ultimate had just been in her room all day, not wanting to get out to make her an easy target to kill, especially since she was just a child.
She was still thinking about her own video, wanting desperately to leave even more just to make sure her family is okay. But, she knows that she isn't capable of doing such a thing. However, Sumire can't say the same thing for everybody.
All of them are all different people with different personalities and different wants. It's possible someone desperately wants to kill just to leave.
All Sumire can think about it her own safety.
Suddenly, Sumire felt her stomach grumbling. She groaned as she didn't really have any food since breakfast. The girl felt too scared to even leave her room but if she doesn't leave her room, she could imagine herself dying from starvation.
Reluctantly, the little girl got up, opening the door of her room, looking through the hallway to see no one. Sighing in relief, she closed behind her dorm before quickly scrambling over to the dining hall.
She beamed as no one was there either. 'Yes! Food!'
Immediately going to the kitchen, she prepared herself the same sandwich along with an apple to keep her healthy. And one thing before she went back to the dining hall, she checked the cabinet she made sure to check the hidden knives, smiling as it was still there before closing it and leaving.
She went back to the dining hall, sitting down to eat peacefully.
But it wasn't until moments later that someone entered the dining hall as she heard multiple footsteps. She turned to find who they are.
The girl with the red jacket immediately noticed her. "Oh, hi, Sumire!" Sakura also gave her a small smile and nod.
"Oh, uh, hi Ms. Asahina..." She then turned to the strong girl. "And hi Ms. Ogami."
"What are you doing here? You couldn't sleep either?" Aoi frowned, sitting down beside her.
"W-Well, kind of? I just... felt hungry." Sumire muttered.
She then noticed what she was eating. "Sandwich, again? I've seen you eat than a lot of times now."
"Poor you, sandwich doesn't fill your stomach." Sakura stood up, smiling "How about this? Let's all make some tea and a snack for us to munch on. Sounds good?"
Aoi nodded. "That's perfect! Come, Sumire, let us make you some food! You really must be hungry!"
"Really?" The little girl said surprised. "W-Well, thank you..."
...
The three of them together came back to the dining hall with tea and some donuts, all of them had laughed and joked together, it lifted the mood, and the scared state Sumire was in. She even got to know learn more about them as she got to spend time with Sakura and Aoi.
"Mmm, this is so good... I haven't had donuts for a while!" Sumire giggled.
Aoi smiled. "Right? They are amazing!"
Sakura asked, chuckling. "How about the tea? What do you think?"
"I've never had any tea, but it's great!" She smiled. "I feel immediately relaxed!"
