"You're late, Makoto! We've all been waiting for you!" Yelled Taka as he pointed at him.

Everyone was inside of the room that contained the giant red door on the first flood that has always been locked but now unlocked with an elevator inside waiting.

"Hmph. I bet y-you were afraid you would be discovered as th-the murderer you are..." Toko smirked.

"Let's not jump to conclusions just yet! Save that for the class trial! There we can all reveal the details of Makoto's crime!"

Sumire sweatdropped. 'Okay, but I'm pretty sure Mr. Naegi didn't do it...'

The monitor inside turned on in which Monokuma giggled to gain everyone's attention to it.

"Puhuhu... Is everyone here? Okay then... Please board the elevator in front of you, which will transport you to the courtroom...where all your fates will be decided. Puhu. I'll meet you all down there. I'll be waiting..."

When the monitor went off, the elevator suddenly opened.

"Let us begin." Sakura said, already stepping in.

Celeste smiled. "Good idea."

Everyone else, including Sumire, followed her inside of the elevator.

Sumire took this time to look around to examine the elevator. Inside was quite creepy with the same gate patterns of the elevator with dark walls and brown flooring.

In a quick moment, Kyoko stepped in with Makoto following along. As soon as he stepped inside, the elevator door closed and the box started to move, descending everyone down.

The light browned hair girl noticed how everyone kept their distance from each other while she was hiding in the right corner of the elevator.

"I wonder if this is how a death row inmate feels when his time finally comes." Makoto muttered.

Celeste chuckled. "Rather than that, is it not more like a defendant waiting to receive his judgment?"

Looking at everyone, she thought. 'One of them killed Ms. Maizono... I hope we find out who it is...'

She didn't realize until the elevator ringed and the elevator doors opened up. Everyone stepped out of the box.

Monokuma, who was sitting a very elegant high chair, laughed. "Nyohoho! You've finally arrived! What do you think? Doesn't it feel just like a real courtroom? It's like a Hollywood movie set, right!?"

"Not even close. It's total shit." Mondo grumbled.

Sumire looked as they have now entered a room that bright blue walls with gold pillars on different sides. The red carpets on the black and white tiled floor and the red curtains resting on the wall gave the room the feel of importance.

What made it exactly like a courtroom to Sumire were the several gold podiums in the middle of the room that were beside each other.

"Wow, it's actually so cool!" Sumire beamed with stars in her eyes.

"Seeee!?" Monokuma giggled. "Sumire gets it! She has good taste than everyone one of you!"

"But, okay, okay, everyone find your assigned seats and sit down! Hurry up now, hurry up!"

Everyone stepped to fill up each podium with themselves. Sumire took one and looked to see herself beside Chihiro and Byakuya. She realized at how close and how she can see everyone else just from her seat since it was arranged in a huge circle.

As everyone stared at each other with uneasy and anticipating, Sumire thought.'We'll find the killer and live. We just have to.'
