2. Unexpected things

MC's pov:

I got in the car and I started to drive away from the mine, but where am I supposed to go now? I was just about to call the group chat and ask for a location when I got an unexpected message. Wasn't he in prison?

PHIL IS NOW ONLINE

Phil: Hey MC. How have you been?
MC: Hi Phil. How can I help you?
Phil: oh sweetheart why do you answer to questions with a question ? But I just wanted to talk to you a bit.. I heard that you guys finally found Hannah.
MC: Yes but weren't you in prison?
Phil: Yes, I was but that doesn't matter right now. I need your help with something.
MC: With what?
Phil: They are still after me, I escaped and I need your help to prove me innocent. You know that I am innocent, don't you?
MC: I think so, Phil. But I can't really talk right now because I need to get somewhere. Maybe I will call you back later.
Phil: Please do. And also if you could come to Duskwood now because I suppose you are not in danger anymore because you found out the truth, I will wait for you at the Aurora.
MC: Didn't you said that they are still after you? Wouldn't the bar be the first place where they will look for you?
Phil: I have a emergency door in the back of the bar, so they can't catch me there if no one sees me going in.
MC: Okay just be careful, also have you spoken with Jessy?
Phil: Not yet. I literally just got out some moments before I called you.
MC: Ok then. Talk to you later
Phil: Later MC.

JAKE IS NOW ONLINE

Jake: Where are you now, MC?
MC: I just left from the forest. How are you? Are you alright?
Jake: Yes, I am. Come to this location that I will be sending you.
MC: Are you there ?
Jake: Yes, I will be waiting for you. We have a lot to talk about. Did you told the others about the unknown number?
MC: I didn't have the time yet.
Jake: Ok. Drive safe, MC :)
MC: I will Jake 🙂

JAKE IS NOW OFFLINE

After some time I arrived where Jake told me to go to and I can't lie, I am a little nervous to finally meet the mysterious guy that I kinda like . Just thinking about him being inside the house that I am in front of gives me butterflies, but I don't think that is the perfect time to think about it, we still have a man that we should be careful about.
I walked to the front door and knocked. The door opened but I couldn't believe my eyes. This man is nothing like I imagined, he is a lot better than that I thought to myself.
"Hi MC. Come in "
We entered the house. It was a pretty house in the middle of the woods. Was this his house?
"Do you want a coffee as we talk a little ?" he asked me and I told him that I would like one. As he got back from the kitchen with two cups of coffee and sat down next to me, we started talking.
"I have to tell you something,Jake. Its about Phil."
"Yeah I know he escaped if this is what you were going to tell me :)"
"You listened, didn't you?" I said laughing .
"Maybe I did" Jake responded.
"I was really worried about you, you know? I don't know what I would have done without you."
"Oh MC, I thought you knew that I can take care of myself, but thank you for your worries, somehow it's making me feel better " he said laughing.
"Heyy it's not funny! Anyways what are we going to do now? Who can be this man? Will he really come after me?"
"I don't know, but this is the motive for bringing you here with me. I don't want anything bad happening to you. We must find him but I am still thinking how. I tried to track down his location of where he was when he called you, but I couldn't. I am afraid that he was close by you."
"I don't think so, I didn't saw a single person there. It's was all empty."
"I am happy to know that you are here with me now.. do you think that you could move here ? I can protect you, you know?"

  Did he really suggested me to move with him? Am I dreaming or something? Did I hit my head somewhere?

"I don't really know, I live so far from here."
"I can call someone to go and get your things."
"That would mean that this person will get into my house, right? I have a roommate, what if she is not going to trust him? A man showing up at the door isn't really the best solution"
"Well yeah, but you don't need to worry. That person is my brother."
"I appreciate that you want to help me, but why don't we go there together instead?"
"I can't risk being seen at the moment. I will call him and you can go with him."

   I was a little hesitant, but I agreed because, in the end, I still need my clothes and everything else.
