4. Delicious thing

Jake's pov:

   It's already been 3 hours since MC and Liam were here and I can't wait for them to get back. I am so proud of myself and I really hope she will like my little surprise :) . I find it hard to express my feelings, but I still try to make little things that should put a smile on her pretty face.
  
  As I leave the kitchen to go back to my laptop, I hear a car outside my house so I go at the window to see if is their car. Surprisingly it wasn't, but I knew exactly who's car is that, so I get out of the house to see what is going on outside.

MC's pov:

I think we are now like five minutes away from the house and I can't wait to get back in there. I saw some jam before I left the house. I really want to eat something, but I am sure I am not the only one, because Liam's stomach keeps on betraying him.
We finally arrived and Liam parked the car in the back of the house for some reason, but I think I saw another car in the front. Whose car is that?

"Let me open the door for you" Liam says and he gets out of the car.
"Thank you but you didn't have to do this."
"Hey I can't be rude with my brother's girlfriend, right?" he says laughing a little and I had to pretend like I didn't like the idea of me being Jake's girl.
"You know I am not his girlfriend, don't you? He still didn't asked me."
"Ohh so if he would ask you, you would say yes, right?"
"Shh let's keep this between you and me, okay Liam?"
"Yeah sure" he say still laughing after seeing my cheeks starting to turn red.
"Come inside and let's eat something." I say to him.
"But your stuff?"
"Oh yeah.. you can go, I will take them."
"You really are a funny girl, MC. Here, let me help you"

We both started to get the things and bring them in the house. As we were going to the front door, I saw Jake and that car. He was talking with someone.. Jake was talking with a girl inside the car.

"MC? Did you forgot to walk or something? Please open the door, I don't even have my arms free anymore."
"Oh yeah I'm sorry Liam" .
I opened the door for him and we both get in the house. Great, now the important question.. Where should we put all of this stuff? I don't even know where I'm supposed to sleep tonight yet.

Me and Liam made a great team and put everything in a corner of the living room for a moment, we sat down on the couch to rest a little. These bags were heavy asf. After some minutes, Jake finally enters the house and come to sit down next to us.
"So how was the trip?" Jake asked happily. "I was waiting for you two"
"It was a long one" I responded. "Have you eaten anything today, Jake?"
"Let's go to the kitchen instead. I can see that you guys are hungry." he said laughing. "Follow me"
As he said that, Jake took me by my hand and led me to the kitchen, with Liam right behind us.

"Soo I made something for you, MC, and I hope you will like it! Do I have to say that I made it with love ? I think it's going to be obvious. Liam, if MC lets you, you can also take a piece."
I got the craziest butterflies in my stomach. I couldn't help but smile seeing the proud look on his face. What did he do?
As we sat down at the kitchen table, my eyes were on Jake and I think that Liam noticed that because he whispered in my ear when Jake went to the oven that I shouldn't stare that much or else he would forget how to talk properly. His words made me laugh.
"Ta daa!! I hope you guys like it! Let's eat now. I am so hungry." Jake said.
