This is the End

Chapter 2

I woke up in a dark room where I was alone and cold. My head throbbed and for some reason I couldn't remember anything. I tried to stand up but my back ached.
"Someone help!" I yelled.
...
No response.
Seriously what happened?
Out of nowhere I heard a knock from within the walls, "Luna is that you?" The voice asked.
"Y-yes it's me. Where are you?!" I shouted, trying to feel for something on the walls.
"I'm alone in some room, it's so cold and I'm kinda scared." The voice replied.
I couldn't help but shed a tear, I was scared too.
"We have to get out of here and find the others." The voice continued.
The others?
And it just hit me, I remembered now.
"W-what about Tao?" I tried to say calmly but ended up sounding shaken up.
There was a long pause.
"I don't know if Tao is still with us." The voice murmured.
"Please don't say that." I whispered.
"Just listen to me Luna! There's some kind of switch on the wall, see if you can feel it, it should trigger the alarms causing the doors to open."
"But what about the bad guys?" I asked hesitantly.
"I've been keeping an eye on them, they're not in the area. Now is our time to escape and find everyone else."
I nodded as if he could see me. I felt around the walls and my hands came across a bulky button and I quickly pressed it.

The alarm sound system went off, red lights flashing, and the doors opened. I ran out of my room to find out who I was speaking to and there was Kai smiling at me.
"You did it!" He said.
"Yes. Now let's go find everyone else."
Kai and I stuck together as we walked around.
"What is this place?" I asked.
There was an eerie feel to the area, the air was heavy and there was a lot of blood on the floor along with the bodies or body parts. It was disgusting. It was hell on earth.
"I don't know." Kai said as he shivered.
The place was a maze, it was so big and I felt that Kai and I were going around in circles even though he assured me that we are going the right way.
"Is anyone out there?" We heard a voice say out of nowhere.
"That's Suho's voice!" Kai said excitedly.
"Let's go!" I said as I took Kai's hand and ran towards the room where we heard Suho shout.
I knocked on the door, "Suho you in there?" I asked.
"Yes! Get me out!" He shouted.
Kai pulled the door open and I saw Suho get off his knees, his miserable expression quickly vanished and he ran to us, pulling us in his arms, hugging us tightly.
"Boy am I ever so glad to see you two." He said, wiping away a tear and smiled.
"I don't know how long I could've lasted sane in there." He continued.
"It's good to see you too." Kai said with a smile and I nodded to agree with Kai.

"Where are the others?" I asked.
"Luhan, Lay and Chen were put together with Kris in a room. I then saw Chanyeol, Baekhyun, Sehun, and Kyungsoo go in another room." Suho said.
"Now to find those rooms." Kai said as he frowned.
"How much time do we have?" I elbowed Kai as all three of us walked around.
"Honestly I don't know. I haven't really kept track of time." He replied.
Just when I was about to scold Kai, Suho interrupted us.
"Guys these are the rooms!" He said excitedly while pointing to them.
"Why are they so quiet..?" I asked nervously.
Kai glared at me, "Don't even go there, Luna. They can handle themselves."
I nodded and quietly apologized.

Suho opened the door and shouted happily.
"They're in here! My boys are here!"
Lay and Luhan were seen sleeping side by side while Kris was repeatedly taking Chen's hat on and off and Chen just seemed bored out of his mind, that is until they saw us.
"We're saved!" Lay yelled happily.
They got up and walked towards us, chattering about what they heard or saw.
"We still have the room next door." I told Suho.
"Kai go open the door with her." Suho asked and he turned to Kris.
Kris had the saddest expression on his face and thats where it once reminded me, again.
I walked slowly behind Kai as he opened the door for Chanyeol, Baekhyun, Sehun and Kyungsoo. Kyungsoo quickly arose to his feet and ran to Kai without saying a word and hugged him tightly. I waved at Chanyeol and Baekhyun. They walked up to me, "Our hero." Baekhyun swooned as he batted his eyelashes playfully. I couldn't help but laugh. Sehun just walked away, mumbling "thank you."

We all huddled in a circle while Suho and Kris where in the middle.
"Today we lost someone very important to us." Suho started.
"And these fuckers are going to get it." Kris interrupted.
Suho looked at Kris, "I'm not willing to lose any of my boys to avenge Tao." He said sadly.
Kris looked away, I could see a tear run down his cheek. "Fine. You don't have to go with me. I will avenge Tao even if that means I die trying."
"No, no, no. We have to stick together!" Suho said.
"I'm not leaving Tao behind!" Kris shouted angrily. "He's my best friend and I know if it were opposite, he'd go out of his way to save me."
I went up to Kris and hugged him, whispering into his chest, "I'll be avenging Tao with you."
Kris slightly smiled, "Thank you, Luna."
"If Luna is doing it, so will I!" Luhan shouted.
"For Tao!" Shouted Lay.

Out of nowhere we heard shuffled footsteps and a voice I thought I'd never hear again.
"What's for me?" Tao said as he walked slowly towards us, his wounds were bandaged up.
"Tao!" I screamed.
I ran to him and hugged him tightly, crying on his shoulder. "Please don't ever scare me like that." I told him, my hands shaking as I touched his cold skin.
I felt someone wrap their long arms around me and Tao and I saw Kris hugging us, a small smile finally showed up. It was like looking at a rainbow after a terrible storm had finally come to an end.

"We should get going." I said as we broke from the hug.
"Right." Kris said.
"Now where do you guys think you're going?" Said a familiar voice.
Oh no...
"You're not leaving anytime soon." He said as he came out of the shadow, revealing him and his men.
"Why can't you leave us alone?!" I screamed.
The man came up to me, putting a bloody knife to my neck, "The moment you guys came in my area is the moment you guys made your big mistake."
"Who the hell are you?" Kris asked furiously.
"The names Jake, don't forget it." Jake said as he smiled slyly and removed the knife from my neck.
"Now am I going to have to kill you guys this time or will you go back to your rooms like good kids?" Jake said.
"You're a fucking joke." Tao said angrily.
"Now I don't think you should be talking to me like that when you're hurt." Jake smugly said.
Kris got in front of Tao and I and he pulled out his wallet, "I'm willing to give you 10,000 if you let us go."
Jake smiled, "I don't want your filthy money. I want to feel... Your pain."
Suddenly the lights turned off and everything went pitch black.
"T-Tao..?" I whispered.
"Once the generator restarts, you're all dead." Jake said.
"Make a run for it." Suho whispered in my ear and he grabbed my hand and we all started running.
My eyes began to adjust to the darkness because I saw the guys running in front of me, Kris helping Tao to run.
"Your little injured friend will slow you down! You can't run from us." Jake said maniacally.

The lights began to flicker back on.
"I see the exit!" I heard Chen shout.
"YEHET!" Sehun yelled.
We all ran outside.

The sun shone brightly and we found ourselves in one of the hangers of the airport but that wasn't what shocked us. The sight of crashed planes on the ground, burning in front of our eyes is what shocked us.
"Is everyone here?" Suho asked.
We all looked around at each other.
We were all together, safe and sound.

It was back to walking and sadly we had to ditch my father's van since we didn't want to go through hell again.
After hours of walking:
"Can we stop for a moment?" Tao said as he breathes heavily.
"We've been stopping way too much." Suho said.
"Suho, he's hurt. Let's just rest right here." Kris said.
Suho sighed, "Alright."
We where back in LA but had managed to find an abandoned Von's. Since Von's is a grocery store, it meant we had to lay on the stone cold floor.
"I'ma go check out the aisles." I told everyone.
"Can I go with you?" Luhan asked.
I couldn't help but smile and nod.

Luhan and I walked through the aisles, we grabbed drinks and magazines. We cracked jokes and felt comfortable with each other. If the world isn't in an apocalyptic zone, I'd say this is the best day of my life and that I'm probably 99% compatible with Luhan.

"I really hope Xiumin is okay." Luhan said as he fiddled with his fingers.
"He is." I said with a slight smile.
Luhan turned to me, a serious expression on his face, "How do you know?"
"I just uh.. Have a feeling." I replied.
He smiled, "Luna, you're really sweet."
"T-thanks."
He leaned in to kiss me..??!?????
I felt his soft lips push onto mine and I turned red as a tomato.
"Oh my.." I mumbled.
He just smiled, looking at me.
I think I have really fallen in love with my bias.
