"Paimon... is that what you were thinking...?" Traveler sighed. "I'm sorry once again for our rudeness, I hope you will let it slide one more time."
"What?!" Paimon got annoyed, "what did you think Paimon was thinking?!"
"It's really unlikely for another person from another planet to end up here, afterall, it did take me and my sibling.. nevermind." Traveler shook it off. "He could just be from another nation, like the ones we haven't encountered yet?"
"Hmph!" Paimon crossed her arms, not wanting to admit she was wrong.
"But.. Paimon, that is a good guess." Traveler smiled, trying to please her.
"She's not wrong." Cale suddenly spoke.
"Huh..?"
They had a shocked expression as they turned their heads towards Cale.
"What do you mean...?" Traveler asked.
"I'm not from here, I mean, not from this planet." Cale said nonchalantly. He figured that since the person in front of him was also from another world, he didn't need to hide the fact he was also from another world.
"W-what?!"
They both screamed in shock.
"Paimon didn't expect Paimon to be right!" Paimon said, still flabbergasted. "Wait, wait, see! Paimon isn't always wrong!" She started acting proud.
"Yes.. Paimon isn't always wrong." Traveler had to admit, satisfying her ego. They faced towards Cale, "so, if you're not from here, why're you here..?"
"Isn't that kinda rude?" Paimon asked.
"What do you want me to ask?"
"I don't know!" Paimon pouted. "I just thought it was kinda rude to say to a foreigner!"
"It's fine." Cale interrupted. "But I don't exactly know why I'm here. When I opened my eyes, I ended up here."
"Ohh. That sounds very similar to your arrival here, doesn't it, Traveler?" Paimon asked.
Traveler smiled, scratching their neck awkwardly. "By the way, what was that wind from earlier?" Traveler asked.
"Wind?" Cale asked back. Then he came to a realization, 'ah.. the wind when I touched the statue.'
"Oh yeah.. that's why we're here." Paimon remembered. "I don't get what's wrong with it? It just looks like he got an anemo vision!"
"An anemo vision?"
"I guess it was nothing." Traveler brushed it off. "Anyways, a vision is the granted ability to be able to draw elemental power from their respective archon or god. It seems you were given a vision from the anemo archon, also the God of Freedom."
Cale nodded, understanding what they said.
"Why don't you join our team?" Traveler suggested, switching the topic.
"That's right! While we're traveling across Teyvet, we can help you find clues on how to return to your homeland!" Paimon pointed out. "It's like killing two birds with one stone!"
"Sure." Cale agreed.
"What's your name? I'm Traveler."
"And I'm Paimon!"
"Cale."
They began walking out of the forest.
"We're currently heading towards Mondstadt, the city of Freedom." Traveler explained as they walked towards there.
"Should Paimon explain the things of Teyvet for you?" Paimon suggested, floating around excitedly around the two.
Cale nodded.
"Teyvet is made up of seven nations: Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, Fontaine, Natlan, and Snezhnaya! And there is a god-like being, Archons, that rule and protect each nation! That's the gist of it." Paimon finished. "Traveler here is currently exploring Teyvet in search for their sibling."
And on and on, Paimon yapped until they arrived at their destination.
"We're here, Mondstadt." Traveler spoke.
"Can I just enter like this..?" Cale asked, not sure how it worked here.
"Yes, why?"
"Nothing." Cale continued walking inside.
