“No, I will handle the situation.” I speak while taking a sip from the black coffee. Alexander is sitting in front of me, and his son Mark right beside him smoking like he will die the next morning. Motherfucker is the one who has been putting unnecessary drama asking me to get rid of Ethan as soon as possible.
“What if you back off?” Mark asked, and I kept the cup on the table before leaning a little towards him, my fingers intertwined as I say. “You know we both can't betray each other. You have my secret, which is why you are blackmailing me to get rid of Ethan but I also have your secret, the recording where you're talking about killing the Chief. I won't betray you nor you can.” He nods a little and I straighten my back.
“As promised I will cover up Ethan's murder for you. No one will even know that you killed him.” Exactly like I wanted. While Alexander and his son are being delusional thinking they trapped me it's the other way around. “Remember if you betray me, I will make sure I don't die alone. I will drag you too.” I added a smile.
“We won't do anything, you know that very fucking well.” The next twenty minutes was such a waste as he continued talking about the useless plan I am not going to go with. I am going to work with my brain, that's all I have been doing. So I told him clearly that I will be doing his work according to me and not him.
I am not a big fan of long talks which is why I do business quickly and leave the place as soon as possible.

“I heard Zayden is injured after the bomb blast?” It's been a couple of days since we all received a threat. Everyone in the Camorra did and too bad Zayden almost lost his life. Ethan told everyone to stay careful until the person behind this isn't revealed and my team is working on it.
“He is conscious now.” Liam replied as I looked outside the car, it's pouring outside. Then it thunders and soon lightens the sky and it gets repeated. “Did you get the person behind the murder?” I asked.
“No boss, unfortunately there is no clue.” A few days ago Ranvi handed me the location of the place where someone was sending her mails. Not the uncle one..she is still hiding that but now Uncle isn't messing up with her.
I checked the area, which turned out that the man died a week ago but then how come she still gets the texts? Who is behind this all? It can be that this man was sending her mail but the real culprit—the rapist got to know about him and killed him..took his laptop or desktop..and started dropping mails.
This makes sense.
The mastermind behind all of this has got the idea that Ranvi is behind him which is why he is eliminating everyone. Condescending how Alpha team haven't got a single glimpse of anyone from Aditi’s case is suspicious. Alpha team is meant to dig clues but it feels as if it's more than a rape case.
