Rome stood in the kitchen looking at a recipe of a dish called 'Crab Louie', how crabs got down to hell is unknown to her. It was a fucking salad with crab, is what she thought, she thought it would be easy. As she looked at the recipe and at the mess her clothes were already in from trying to just get the crab meat off the fucking crabs in front of her, they were already boiled alive and shit but they were putting up more of a fight dead, she though this would be easy.

She sighed and looked at the boiled crabs in front of her. She pushed them to the side and worked on tossing the salad lettuce and other ingredients. She was already fucking over the whole thing.

"Stupid fancy bullshit, I shouldn't have just made him a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, then called it night, but no."

She continued to toss the salad with a dressing she made for it. The last thing she needed was the crab meat, but the crabs were so unwilling she didn't have the energy. She ripped her hands off on her apron and grabbed the cook book flicking through it for anything else to go with it. She found a simple looking recipe for scallops, she decided it would work and just kept up with the ocean theme she started. She turned to the fridge, walking over and grabbing the ingredients needed, the scallops of course, along with some carrots for a carrot puree and some prosciutto. She looked at the ingredients that now sat in front of her on the counter then back down at the cook book. She sat the cook book down and walked to a cabinet grabbing some pans. She walked to the stove, putting a pan on medium heat then pouring in some oil in then the scallops. She looked at them for a moment ensuring they were actually cooking then grabbed another pan. She put it on the stove on low heat then looked at the cook book.

She cut up the carrots into coin shapes, throwing them into the pan with butter and her hopes and dreams while she cooked. While they cooked she tended to the scallops, then got slowly into the rhythm of cooking but she still had that stupid crab meat to deal with.
