Arrange Marriage

Ch 4. /Lunch/

Pooh's mom: Oh, Pavel is also here. Pavel, my son Pooh.

She said introducing her son to Pavel.

Pavel: Hello Pooh. I am Pavel. Nice to meet you.

Pooh: Nice to meet you, Pavel.

Both of them shaked their hands with a awkward smile. Suddenly Pooh mom interrupted.

Pooh's mom: Oh, you can say hi bye later. Now, let's go food is cold now.
She grabbed their hands and  dragged  both of them out of the room.

Pavel's mind: Damn, he looks so damn handsome just like fictional character. That wolf eyes, oh my god it's killer. Bro looks like how he smell.

Pooh's mind: Such a pretty sleeper. Even he just woke up, he still look gorgeous. I wonder what kind of partner he will have in future.

In dining table,
Pavel's mom: Took you long enough. How many dreams you saw?? Look at your face. I told you to sleep comfortably.

Pooh's mom: Common. You can say that later too. Let's eat food first

She made Pavel and Pooh sit beside each other. And she went to sit besides her bestfriend. Pooh and Pavel both were sitting there with  spoonful of food in their hands and mouth  but both of them were thinking about each other lost in their own imagination.

After eating all of them were in the hall. Pooh's mom and Pavel's mom were chatting about their lives while Pooh and Pavel kept sneaking glances at each other. Pooh's mom noticed the subtle glances between Pooh and Pavel.

Pooh's mom: Pooh, where is the gift you brought for Pavel today?

Pavel glanced at Pooh while his mom asked him that question.

Pooh: It's in the room, mom.

Pooh's mom: Why haven’t you given it to him yet?

Pooh: Mom, I.......

Before Pooh could go any further his mom interrupted .

Pooh's mom: It's okay. You can give it to him now. By the way, I heard that Pavel also like reading books. Show some of your books to him. He might like it and both of you don't like going outside often so you guys might like each other's company. Now go both of you. Don't stare at me like that.  Me and Suchada have lot of things to talk about. You guys don't have to listen everything. Enjoy yourselves too.

She said, guiding both of them out of the hall.

Pooh: Mom, why are you kicking us out??

Poohs mom: You guys are almost of same age. If I was you, I will be roaming around the village with my new friend. Look at you always sitting alone in the house. Take Pavel and show him your village, show him anything. Just don't disturb us. Now, go.

She said, directing them out of the hall. Since both of them didn't like going outside of the house both of them decided to head towards Pooh's room.

Pooh's mom: Suchada, I saw Pooh and Pavel stealing glances at each other.

She said excitedly.

Pavel's mom: I saw that too. I think we should already arrange their marriage. There is no way they won't be liking each other. They are almost same in everything and their vibe matches perfectly.

Pooh's mom: I think so too. I will talk to my husband about that. He will be coming here within two days.

Pavel's mom: Okay, then. I will talk to my husband too.

Pooh's mom: Why won't you let Pavel stay in my house ?? I will try to send them for a night walk.

Pavel's mom: Well. If you can convince him, you can keep him here. I won't mind.

In Pooh's room,

The room was silent and quiet awkward. Both of them didn't knew how to start a conversation. For sometime it was pindrop silent until Pooh choose to spoke.

Pooh: This is for you.

He said handling that daisy and lavender flower bouquet to Pavel and that 3D sculpture art.

Pavel: Thank you. It's beautiful. But I didn't bring anything for you.

Pooh: Its okay. You don't need to.

As silence began to settle again, suddenly

Pavel: Aunt told that you love to write books. Can you show me some of your stories??

This time Pavel choose to break the silent between them.

Pooh then guided him towards his small library. His room had another small hidden room which was full with books. He then pulled out one of the books and handed it to Pavel. Pavel placed his bouquet on the table and was shocked to see the book.

Pavel: Oh my god, I have already read this books. So, you are the real author of ghostly pages.
