Ch 12. /Tired/

Ms. Suchada: I am sending you some videos. See it right now okay. I am going now. Bye.

She said that to her bestfriend and cut the video call and continued her gaze at Pooh and Pavel.

Pon: What is it aunt?? I am excited.

Ms. Anong: Oh my god.

Ms. Anong: My son is holding Pavel waist and dancing together with him.

Pon: Am I hallucinating?? What is happening to Pooh nowadays??

Ms. Anong: They are even talking with each other while staring at each other.

Pon: Pooh stared at Pavel while holding him. (In disbelief)

Pon: Aunt, I am telling you bro is in love.

Pon: Go to Pavel house tomorrow and ask for marriage proposal.

Ms. Anong: Just wait for your uncle to come. I have already prepared for everything.

Pon: Oh, aunt. You are so fast.

Pon: But when will uncle come home?

Ms. Anong: He was suppose to come sooner but due to his company work it will take him more 10 days to come.

Ms. Anong: I will wait for him and after his arrival here, I will go to Pavel's house to ask for his hand for my son.

Pon: Aunt, it's long period of time.

Ms. Anong: It's just 10 days.

Pon: (dramatically staring at ceiling) When people are in love, even one minute is like one year to them.

Pon: How would my beloved brother live without his lovely boy Pavel??

Pon: My bro will suffer inside. I won't be able to see my brother suffering in silence.

His dramatic expression and sudden change in voice made his aunt chuckle.

Ms. Anong: Find someone for you too. You look half mental when you talk like this. 

Pon: You are wrong aunt.

Pon: I am full mental.

Pooh's mom sighed at his behaviour.

Ms. Anong: Why you always have to think about Pooh??

Pon: I don't know. I just love irritating him.

Pon: I feel like I am born to irritate him.

Pon: You are not cousin if you don't irritate each other.

He said changing his voice lost in his own world. And when he came back to his normal senses, his aunt wasn't Infront of him. She was in the sink washing dishes.

Pon: Everybody ignores me.

He murmured and left from the kitchen going back to his room.

It was now 6 in the evening, and the engagement party had wrapped up. However, there was still an evening celebration planned for cousin.  Pavel’s parents had already gone home, feeling exhausted from the day’s activities. Although they had been invited to stay, they declined for the evening but promised to stay there on the wedding day.

However Pooh and Pavel was still at the party since there was celebration for the cousin. Pavel didn't wanted to stay neither Pavel mom wanted to leave him alone there . But since the engaged guy forced too much, Pavel had to stay. Pavel's mom then called Pooh secretly in the corner of the hall.

Ms. Suchada: Son, I can't leave Pavel alone here. He feels uncomfortable when surrounded by too many people.

Ms. Suchada: So, I want you to do me favor. Please stay with him for tonight. Don't leave him alone okay.

Ms.Suchada: He is innocent and those cousin will try to get him drunk. He won't be able to reject them so don't leave his side okay.

Ms. Suchada: I will talk to your mom about you staying here. Don't worry okay.

Pooh never liked staying at other person's house especially strangers house. But for Pavel he was willing to do anything. So he nodded his head in understanding.

Pooh: Don't worry aunt. I will take care of him.

Pooh: I wouldn't let them even touch him.

Ms. Anong: Thanks son. Now, I am leaving okay. Take care.

She said caressing Pooh's face with love and went towards Pavel to confront him.

Ms. Anong: Listen, Pavel. Pooh will stay here with you tonight.

Ms. Anong: Don't ask me any questions. And Don't leave his side okay.

Ms. Anong: Don't get drunk and yeah sleep with Pooh not with your cousins. I can't trust them.

Pavel was aware of the ongoing conflict among the relatives. His family, known for their kindness, often felt out of place among them. The cousins were consistently selfish, only thinking of themselves and only reaching out to Pavel’s family when they needed help. So he nodded in understanding not questioning anything.

After Pavel's mom left, Pooh came towards Pavel and looked at him continuously.

Pavel: I am sorry because of me you had to stay here.

Pavel: You must be tired.

Pooh: It's okay, Pavel. No need to feel bad about it. I am willing to stay here with you.

Pooh: You might be tired too. Let's rest a bit for sometime.

Pooh: Isn't party supposed to be at 9pm?

Pavel: Yes.

Pooh: It's 6:25 now. Let's go to some empty rooms. We can still sleep for sometime since we need to wake up at night.

Pavel then took Pooh towards his small cousin brother room. He was only cousin brother whom he liked as he was small and was kind than rest of the family members. He loved Pavel genuinely.
