Ms. Suchada asked softly, "Have you had a chance to speak with Pavel?"

Continue....

Pooh: Khap, Aunt.

Pooh: He mentioned he's willing to give me a chance.

That news was enough to lift everyone's mood in the house. The conversation went on for an hour, and everyone who was there felt pleased.

Ms. Anong: So, when are we planning the engagement and wedding?

Ms. Suchada: We’ll need to consult our priest about that.

Pooh’s dad: It would be ideal to have the wedding soon, perhaps within two weeks. I won't be able to stay in Thailand for much longer.

Pooh felt a surge of joy upon hearing his father. He had expected it might take at least two months to marry Pavel, but his feelings for Pavel had grown so strong that waiting for the wedding date seemed almost unbearable.

Pooh (thinking): I can manage for two weeks. There will be an engagement before then, so I'll get to see Pavel.

Ms. Suchada: Isn’t that a bit rushed? We won’t have much time to prepare.

Ms. Anong: Don’t worry about that. Leave it to us. Besides, the wedding will be at Party Palace, so it's not a huge deal.

Pooh’s father: My friend is a wedding planner, so we won’t have to worry too much about the details.

Ms. Suchada: That’s fine, as long as both of them agree.

Everyone turned their attention to Pooh, waiting for his response.

Pooh: If that’s what everyone wants, then I’m alright with it.

Pon: Come on, don’t pretend. You’re even more excited about this than we are.

Pooh gave Pon a sideways glance, but Pon acted like he didn’t see it.

Ms. Suchada: Pon.

Pon: Yes, Aunt?

Ms. Suchada: Can you call Pavel? We need his decision too.

Pon: Sure, Aunt. Just a moment.

Pon went to Pavel’s room, where Pavel was napping on the couch.

Pon: Pavel, he said softly, tapping Pavel on the shoulder.

Pavel woke up, looking at Pon with a puzzled expression.

Pon: Your mom wants you downstairs.

Pavel: Okay. I’ll be down after using the bathroom.

Pon: Hurry, please.

After reminding Pavel to hurry, he left Pavel’s room. Alone now, Pavel headed to the bathroom to check his appearance in the mirror. Satisfied that he looked good, he then made his way downstairs to join everyone where everyone was waiting for him.

Ms. Suchada: Sit next to Pooh; we need to discuss something with you.

Pooh shifted to make room for Pavel. The space was tight, and their bodies brushed against each other, making both of them feel a flutter of nerves. Their hearts raced, but neither of them said a word.

Ms. Suchada: Pavel, according to our decision, the wedding will take place within the next two weeks, on any day within that period.

Pavel looked at his mother with shock, while Pooh watched Pavel’s reaction intently, unable to tear his eyes away from Pavel’s striking appearance.

Pavel (softly): What, so soon?

Pooh’s father: Son, I won’t be here after two weeks, so we need to move quickly. We’re counting on a positive response from you.

Ms. Suchada: So, what’s your decision?

Pavel’s nervousness began to make Pooh anxious as well.

Pooh (thinking): What if he rejects it because it’s happening too quickly?

Seeing Pavel’s distress, Pooh wanted to offer some comfort. As they sat closely on the sofa, Pooh gently placed his hand on Pavel’s waist, causing Pavel to flinch slightly. Pooh was confident that no one would notice the gesture since they were seated close together.

Pavel (thinking): In front of everyone.

Despite his shock, Pavel had now made up his mind.

Pavel: I’m okay with it.

At that moment, Pon leapt up from the sofa and rushed to hug Pavel, nearly suffocating him.

Pooh (nudging Pon away): Let him go.

Pon: Oh, someone’s already feeling possessive.

Pon’s comment made Pavel blush slightly.

Meanwhile, Pavel’s and Pooh’s parents congratulated each other, excited about the new bond they would soon share. The atmosphere was filled with happiness, and everyone appeared content.

Ms. Suchada: Congratulations, son.

She embraced her son warmly, and Ms. Anong hugged both Pavel and Pooh. As evening approached, it was time for Pooh’s family to leave.

Ms. Anong: Before we go, we’d like to discuss the wedding plans. If you want to talk with Pavel, you can take him with you.

Pon: Of course, Aunt. They’ll go. You don’t need to worry about that.

Pon said this and promptly led Pavel and Pooh out of the house, then shut the door behind them.

Pon: Enjoy yourselves, he said with a grin, locking the door from inside.

Everyone in the hall laughed at Pon’s playful antics. His behavior, which made the house feel warm and welcoming, was much appreciated by everyone.
