Ch 16. /Forgive/

Grey: I don't have any balance on my phone. Make the call using your phone.

Blue: What if he doesn't answer when I call?

Grey: I trust him. He will pick up. He is a good person.

Grey: He’s likely forgotten everything that has happened to him by now.

*Ringing*

Pavel stared at the screen for a while before answering.

Pavel: Hello.

Blue: I am sorry, Pavel. I am really sorry.

Blue: I know I hurt you but trust me I didn't planned to beat you up. It was my friend.

Blue: I know it's not easy to forgive me. But I will try to change myself.

Blue: I will behave nicely with you from now.

Pavel paused for a moment before responding, and his reply was not what Blue had expected.

Pavel: It's okay. I forgive you. Don't worry.

Pooh didn't like how easily Pavel forgave Blue, but it was one of Pavel's traits that made him appealing to others. Pooh couldn't deny that Pavel's kind heart was part of his charm.

Blue( shocked): You really forgave me, right.

Blue: You are not kidding right.

Pavel: I do. I already forgave you. Don't worry about it .

Pavel: Just act like what you did never happened.

Blue: I am sorry again and thank you for forgiving me.

Pavel: It's okay. Now enjoy your engagement party don't think about me.

Blue: Okay, bye phi.

It was first time blue called him "phi" so he was shocked.

Grey: See, I told you. Pavel is a good person.

Blue: Indeed he is.

Pooh: You forgive people easily, Pavel.

Pavel: It's okay. He is my cousin brother and he felt guilty about it which is already big improvement for him.

Pavel: I am willing to give him a chance for him to change.

Pavel: Everybody deserves a second chance, don't they??

Pooh(in mind) : It would be so refreshing if every person on earth was like you, Pavel.

Pooh: Of course, they do. But sometimes you shouldn't give it easily if they have been hurting you.

Pavel: Okay, I will try.

Pooh smiled at Pavel's innocence and patted his head, causing Pavel to blush. Just as Pooh was about to grab utensils to wash them, Pavel stopped him.

Pavel: I can help you. You don't have to carry all of them.

Pooh: Its okay. You can take rest. Your energy is already drained today. I can help.

Pooh: Trust me it's not a big problem.

Pooh said smiling causing Pavel to smile too.

Pooh then went outside the room to wash the utensils.

Pavel(in mind): You told me not to give in to people easily. But I know you will do the same.

He laid himself in bed and all of the exhaustion suddenly caught him. He fell asleep in no time. After washing the utensils, Pooh noticed the bright moon outside and went out to look at it.

Pooh: I used to think nothing was as beautiful as the moon until I met him.

Pooh glanced at the moon before returning to his room. He found Pavel asleep, his face looking sweet with rosy cheeks, possibly from the cold. Pooh then went to the cupboard, took out a blanket, and carefully covered Pavel with it. He sat beside Pavel and softly stroked his cheek.

Pooh(in soft voice): I hope you find all the happiness you deserve, Pavel. The world often doesn't treat kind-hearted people well.

He said and moved to his side of the bed, keeping a distance from Pavel. As he settled in, he looked over at Pavel while falling asleep.

In morning,

Pooh woke up to the sunlight streaming across his face. He looked over at the other side of the bed, where Pavel was still sleeping. The sunlight on Pavel's face made him look even more beautiful. Pooh went to the window and drew the curtains to keep the light from waking Pavel. He went to the shower and put on the clothes he had worn the previous day at Pavel's cousin’s wedding. He put on a shirt and pants, rolling up the sleeves. He skipped the suit and tie. Seeing that Pavel was still asleep, he decided to head downstairs, where Grey friend greeted him politely.

FRIEND: Is Pavel brother still asleep??

Pooh: Yes. He might be tired. Let him sleep some more.

Friend: Okay. Feel free to stay here. I’ll prepare breakfast for you.

Pooh: It's okay. "I'll have breakfast after Pavel wakes up."

Grey: Khap.

She said  and went to the kitchen to prepare food for the other customers who had come for tea and breakfast. It was already 7 a.m. when Pavel woke up. After taking a shower, he dressed in a shirt and pants and went downstairs to look for Pooh. Despite searching everywhere, he couldn’t find Pooh. He moved towards grey friend and waited for her to finish taking the customer's order.

Pavel: Sister.

Friend: Khap.

Pavel: Did you see Pooh?

Friend: I asked him to have breakfast, but he refused until you woke up and went outside. He’s probably wandering around outside the cottage right now.

Pavel: Thankyou.

Friend: Could you please call him? I’ll prepare breakfast for both of you now.

Pavel nodded and headed towards Pooh, who was standing by the lakeside since the cottage was right next to it knowing the fact that Pooh waited for him to have breakfast together.
