Pooh's pov:

Yesterday, our date at the restaurant was a magical experience. We both indulged in our favorite meals, savoring every bite while engaging in sweet conversation. I noticed Pavel blushing, unable to meet my gaze. It was charming how shy he got, especially when I playfully hinted at flirting with him. His cheeks turned a deep shade of red, resembling a ripe tomato, and I couldn’t help but smile. I think it’s adorable when he blushes; it makes him look incredibly cute.

As for today, my house is buzzing with activity as guests fill every corner. Some are familiar faces, while others are complete strangers to me. A few of them mentioned that they met me when I was just a baby, expecting me to remember them. I can’t help but laugh at the thought. How could anyone expect a newborn to recognize faces?

Pavel Pov:

My date with him truly went well, but I felt so embarrassed—really, really embarrassed. The way he confidently said such wild things without a hint of shyness was captivating. Each of his words made my heart flutter, and I found myself blushing. I tried to maintain my composure, but I couldn’t help feeling shy around him, especially since I could tell he was enjoying it. His playful charm only made my cheeks heat up more.

I’m in my room right now, taking a moment to breathe. With the wedding day approaching, the house is buzzing with guests. I tried to chat with them for a while, but I found it overwhelming and needed a break. I can’t help but wonder what my husband is doing at this moment.

Pooh's Pov:

I’m resting in my room, thinking about Pavel. I called him just two hours ago, but now I feel the urge to reach out again. I can’t help but wonder if calling him again would make me seem desperate. Should I go ahead and call him, or should I wait a little longer?

I can’t help but wonder if he misses me too. After all, I’ve been thinking about him so much.

Author's pov:

Yesterday unfolded like a dream, the wedding just two days away, with Pooh and Pavel consumed by excitement, messaging each other tirelessly. Their joy was palpable, but today, everything took a dark turn.

Pavel stumbled upon a girl from his past—a girl who had harbored an obsessive crush on him since childhood. Her presence felt suffocating, her stubbornness a twisted shadow looming over him. When she dragged him into a secluded corner, her eyes burned with intensity. With a sinister smile, she threatened that if he dared to marry Pooh, she would unleash chaos upon their lives. “If I can’t have you, then no one will,” she hissed, leaving Pavel shivering with dread as he realized the depths of her madness.

Ringing*

When Pavel saw Pooh’s name pop up on his phone, he felt a wave of anxiety wash over him. The excitement he used to have was gone, replaced by the fear of what the girl had said. She had a history of causing trouble and always seemed to get away with it because of her powerful connections as she belonged to political background.

He knew that if she decided to act, it could all be over. Still, he couldn’t deny his feelings for Pooh; he was truly in love with him.

Pooh: Hey, baby?? What's up??

Pooh noticed that Pavel wasn’t saying anything and was staring at him intently. His energy felt different today; it was obvious something was bothering him.

Pooh: Are you okay, baby? Did something happen?

He asked, his concern growing.

Pavel hesitated, still unsure of what to say.

Pooh: Is there anything you want to tell me?

Pooh asked gently, trying to coax him to open up.

Pavel (hesitantly): No. How are you?

Pooh: Don’t lie, baby. I can see it on your face. Something’s bothering you.

Pooh said, his concern deepening.

Pavel: I’m just having a little headache, that’s all.

Pavel replied, trying to shake off his feelings for now.

Pooh (worriedly): Did you take any medicine, baby?

Pavel: I did.

He lied, hoping to keep Pooh from worrying too much. For now, he decided to brush it aside, telling himself he would explain everything after the wedding—just how obsessed that girl was and the danger she posed.

Pooh : I think you should rest, baby. I wish I could be there to take care of you. OR Should I hang up?

He asked, concerned.

Pavel: No, don’t do that. I want to talk with you.

Pooh: Then can you set your phone down so I can see your face? I want you to sleep in front of me. You need to rest, baby. You can’t be sick at the wedding.

Pavel:Okay then. Just don’t hang up.

Pooh: Alright, baby. I’ll be right here. Just close your eyes slowly.

Pavel thought it would be better to sleep than to keep worrying. He knew that with Pooh by his side, his love could conquer anything. He couldn’t let that girl drive him away from Pooh. In the past, he had always walked away from dangerous situations, but this time, he chose to fight for his love. As he lay there, he slowly drifted off to sleep, comforted by Pooh’s soothing voice.
