Just seeing them made me sick, knowing what they had done to Riley and Bree. How could they kill them? I know they didn't kill Bree, but they could have protected her or risked their lives for her or something! But no, they let the Volturi kill them.

I remember when I was human. It's when I met Riley. Bree and I went to get ice cream at the ice cream place near our house.

Bree gave me a hungry look. I knew she loved ice cream, so I took her to Creamy's, the closest ice cream shop to our house. They had her favorite flavor, Pineapple Mango. I loved seeing her eyes light up with excitement every time I talked about ice cream.

It was actually very cold in there because of the ice cream. My little sister smiled at me. She had the most beautiful smile I have ever seen.

"Camilla, Camilla, look at all the flavors! I can't choose!"

We both knew she would choose Pineapple Mango. I smiled at her.

A brown-haired guy about my age, maybe a little older, looked at us. He was an employee of the shop, and I had to admit that he was cute. I didn't even notice it was our turn, I was too busy checking out the guy.

"Bree, what do you want?" I asked my sister.

"I don't know..."

"While the little lady is deciding, I wanted to tell you that you're very pretty! Hmm, why did I say that?" the guy said. He surprised me. He had a sweet and cute voice.

The guy made me laugh. He seemed so nervous and shy!

"Thank you! I think you're a nice guy."

"You're welcome!"

"Bree, have you decided? There are people waiting!"

"I'll take...Pineapple Mango!"

I looked in my purse for my wallet, but I couldn't find it.

"Shoot, I left my wallet at home. Sorry, Bree, we'll come back later after we pick it up, okay?"

"No need to worry. It's on me," the guy said, winking at me.

"Oh! Thank you so much! Why would you do that?"

"I think you have a nice smile," he said. "And why wouldn't I help a beautiful girl buy her little sister an ice cream?"

I felt myself blushing. He blushed too.

"So, a little Pineapple Mango ice cream?" the guy asked me.

"Hum, yeah."

I couldn't believe what the guy had done. It was so nice of him!

"Thank you!!!" exclaimed Bree as she received her ice cream. "Camilla, come on! We need to sit outside!"

"You can go." I told my little sister. "I'll be right there."

After Bree left, I said to the man:

"I'm Camilla. By the way, thanks again for the free ice cream."

"I'm Riley. My break is in five minutes. Maybe I can sit with you?"

"Of course! I think my sister likes you."

I smiled at him and joined Bree at a table outside. She gave me a crooked smile full of innuendo.

"Camilla has a boyfriend! Camilla has a boyfriend!"
