We were all sitting in the living room trying to figure out what to do.

We should just do it, fight them. I'm sure we'll win! Even if it was just Jasper and me, we'd win, I'm sure! thought Emmett. It didn't surprise me that he didn't even think about the consequences.

Jasper thought more intelligently, but he came to the same conclusion as Emmett: If what Edward told us is true and she has such a dangerous power, she will be alone. She won't build an army. If we all stand against her alone, we have many ways to win, just like we did with the newborns. We just need to ask the wolf pack for help. They will surely say yes, they love to fight. We will win, I'm sure.

Alice was more uncertain: The chances are 50% against 50%. We win or we lose. I don't know this Camilla well, so I can't see all her decisions, but I can see the most important ones in my future and Jasper's. She set the battle for March 20th, one month from now.

I hope they get Renesmee out of this. She hasn't done anything, she wasn't even born yet! I will do everything I can to protect her. She doesn't deserve this. Maybe we do, but not her. Rosalie's main goal was to keep Renesmee out of the coming war. When she came back and we explained everything to her, she didn't even seem worried until we mentioned a war. She was mostly worried about Renesmee, the one she protected, she says, when Nessie was in Bella's womb.

Esme, unlike Rosalie, was worried about the whole family. They are just children! I can't believe we only had a month between two battles. First the Volturi, then this girl who wants revenge because they killed her sister and her boyfriend wanted to kill Bella! Poor Bella. She didn't even have time to benefit from her first year as a vampire.

It is clear that the girl was very attached to Riley and Bree. Their deaths broke her, and now she wants to kill everyone responsible for their deaths. She can't be alone in this. She would be more intelligent. Maybe Camilla had the same idea as Victoria and created a newborn army. Let's open the TV and watch the news from Seattle. Carlisle repeats almost everything I say. He wants to find strategies, reasons and solutions. He is the most intelligent of the family. He opened the TV to the news channel.

"Seattle, February 21st. It looks like the serial killer or street gang that killed way too many innocent people last summer is back. Yesterday there were five murders that left no evidence. We didn't find out who the victims were. Today there were two murders with no further evidence. The people of Seattle are beginning to worry; is this the beginning of something big? How do we deal with it? Caroline Snow, USA News".

Suddenly, Carlisle closed the TV. His fears were true: a newborn army was forming against us. One more time.

I took Bella's hand. With Rosalie around, I was sure Renesmee wouldn't be touched, but I couldn't be sure about Bella. I promised myself that I would protect her when she was human, and I'll see it through to the end. We had no chance against the Volturi, but we won. Before that, we fought the Newborns, and we won. I tried to convince myself that we would be fine. We just had to ask the wolves. This time, I would be there with everyone, including Bella, even if I did not agree with the idea.

"I think we need to call the wolf pack," Jasper said simply, as everyone guessed what was happening.

We all agreed.

"The date is March 20th," Alice announced. "Camilla has a dramatic side and there will be a blood moon that night. She'll find a way to tell us, or keep the element of surprise, even if it doesn't work."

"You don't know where she'll be?" her Jasper asked.

"No. She just set the date. I don't see her clearly because I don't know her. If I could only meet her, I would know what to look for... I only see her choices in my future and yours, Jazz."

"Let's go on the hunting trip," Emmett decided. "We have nothing else to do."

"You mean your hunting trip to Alaska? I think the situation is a little too important to go that far." Bella spoke for the first time in the conversation.

"Why not? The battle is in a month! We have time," Emmett continued.

I JUST WANT TO HUNT THE ANIMALS WE WERE HUNTING!!! he shouted in his head.

Rosalie decided to side with him. I have to get the idea of all the things that will happen to us in a short time out of my head.

"I agree with him. We don't have time, better to profit," she said.

"I guess we're leaving," Carlisle decided. "Pack your bags, we're leaving this afternoon!"

It was noon. Carlisle booked a flight for 3 pm. While we were packing our bags at our house, I asked Bella:

"My dear, are you sure you want to go on this trip? We don't have to go if you don't want to."

I hated to see her sad. But it didn't torture me more than the images I saw in Alice's mind of Bella's depression in September, almost a year and a half ago. All those six months, the darkest of my existence, I had that image in my mind. I knew she didn't want to think about it when I was around, but she couldn't help it.

"No, no, it's fine."

After a moment, I asked her the question I always asked her when she was human.

"What are you thinking?"

"I'm thinking, why can't we take a break? First it was James, then Laurent, then Victoria came with her newborn army, and two months ago it was the Volturi!"

"But they didn't win. They didn't kill us. We're strong, Bella, you're strong. I know this is a lot of stress for you, my love. You are the strongest person I have ever known. Much stronger than Emmett!"

She smiled a little and then I hugged her. I admitted that I missed her warmth and her scent, but as a vampire she didn't get killed almost every day. I stopped hugging her to kiss her.

I didn't let go of her until Esme called us to tell us it was time to go.

"I love you, Bella."

"I love you, Edward."
