Summary * A lock, a door, Filch and Mrs Norris, a mystery. Clearly, you must gain entry to the locked room, but your Prefect may have other plans.*

Felix in a Message: It's going to take some work to get back all the House Points you lost. Come find me in the Common Room.

*Emma goes to the Common Room to meet Felix. A few Slytherins talk to her on the journey*

First-Year: I heard Flitwick is teaching us Alohomora soon.

Third-Year: Mr Filch was asking about you, Emma. Be careful.

Fourth-Year: Does it feel cold in here to you?

Emma: You wanted to see me?

Felix: Please tell me you did not lose Slytherin another twenty House Points, Emma.

E*: I'm not trying to get in trouble. Merula was bullying another student. Someone had to do something.

F: Why does that someone always have to be you? You're ruining any chance we have of winning the House Cup.

E: What can I do to make it better?

F: Go to class. Focus on your schoolwork. Do everything in your power to earn more House Points. And I know this is very difficult for you, but please, stay out of trouble.

E: I...will try.

F: Do better than try. You have Potions Class and Charms Class today. Get to your classes on time, and get Slytherin some House Points.

Penny in a message: I heard an exciting rumour. See me during study hall and I'll fill you in!

*Emma heads to the Great Hall to talk to Penny.*

Penny: Hey, Emma! I heard McGonagall has a big announcement today.

E: This is news to me. I wonder what it's about.

*McGonagall walks to the front of the Great Hall to give the announcement.*

Professor McGonagall: Attention, students! Before we begin today's study hall session, I am delighted to share a special announcement with all of you. Starting today, the Sphinx, Dragon, and Hippogriff Clubs will be opening their doors to new members.

Student: I've not heard of those clubs before. What makes them special?

McG: These clubs allow Hogwarts' most gifted students a chance to further their studies with like-minded students and receive highly prized benefits for their dedication.

E: How can I get into one of the clubs?

McG: Each club has unique requirements that must be met to enjoy membership in good standing

P: Professor, you mentioned that these clubs are for like-minded students. What disciplines do the clubs cover?

McG: The Sphinx Club looks for members that perform well in Charms, Transfiguration, History of Magic, and Astronomy. The Dragon Club seeks members that show aptitude in Flying, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Duelling, and Quidditch. And the Hippogriff Club accepts members that excel in Potions, Herbology, Divinations and Care of Magical Creatures. Your classes won't be the only place where you can make a good impression with these clubs. Students who are already members of these clubs will be looking for the best and brightest recruits in all your activities.

E: What if I want to be part of all of the clubs?

McG: It is possible, but only Hogwarts' most exceptional wizards and witches can become members of multiple clubs! Please see me privately if you have any more questions. For the time being, we must begin our study hall session.
