It seemed to Lumine that her papa was always busy being the king, so any little bit of time she could get with Lord Dream was a blessing in her eyelights. So when Dream offered her a carriage ride to conduct some business in one of the villages near the border, she lunged for the opportunity. First breakfast with Papa and now a ride?! Outer was the name of their guide, and since Classic was nowhere to be seen, he was doubling as their coach and Lumine's babysitter (not that she needed one). Dream helped Lumine into a raincoat, seeing as it was supposed to get stormy later in the day, on their way back, if they were lucky. Dream took her hand and led her out into the courtyard to the carriage and Outer. The Sans seemed highly amused by Lumine's excited nature. "it looks like you've got a handful there. should i be worried?" The skeleton spoke half-heartedly, but Lumine was already giggling. "i dunno~ i might me your living nightmare." Lumine replied between giggles. Dream rubbed her skull fondly. "she'll be fine, the only thing you'll have to worry about is keeping her near the carriage... she's an explorer."

The castle was usually all sorts of busy, but this afternoon, it was quiet. Cimmarian knew this meant they were in a meeting. She was expected to behave while she had this freedom away from her guardians. She only had three rules to abide by during times like these. One was not to make a mess unless she was gonna clean it. Two, never go into the dungeons. There were dangerous monsters there who could hurt her. Three, was not to go outside. She could be kidnapped or sold to slavery. It didn't matter that she was the princess of the Moon Kingdom, if anything, that only meant she'd fetch for a higher price. Cimmarian took the rules very seriously and waited in her playroom for them to finish up, but it seemed they were headed out immediately. "Killer, what's happening?" He was the first that she spotted, so she hoped to get something out of him. Killer turned and caught her shoulders with an eager smile - his dangerous smile. "don't worry, you're pretty little head princess. something is happening at the border, is all. we are only going to make sure the peace is kept."

It was a lie, Cimmarian knew. He always had that look when murder was going to happen, like when they went hunting for a feast. "If that's the case, I'd like to come. I want to see more of my kingdom." Cimmarian replied boldly. The vicious smile Killer sported became a vicious frown, and Killer started to shake his skull. "I'll go get my coat on- it's supposed to rain, right?" Killer's grip tightened. "you can't come. the boss would kill me -"
"But it's only a border check. It's completely safe." She tried to pull away from Killer. "there could be bandits or -"
"You're all mobilizing, so I'll be safe. Every last one of you is capable of keeping me safe, Killer." She told him with certainty. Killer sighed lowly. "at least talk to your dad... if he agrees, then you can come." Killer finally let go, and Cimmarian flashed his back a victorious smile, crossing her fingers behind her back. There were no rules against going outside with everyone for a carriage ride. "I will." She ran off to get her coat before going to find a hiding spot where she could ride without being caught.
