"princess, it's time for you to wake up."
Classic didn't have to tell her. Lumine had been awake for hours, listening to the birdsong outside while she wrote in her journal. Still, she supposed as her nanny, it was part of his job. Lumine pounced up from her chair and ran over to the chamber doors to let him in. Classic smiled, always appreciating her enthusiasm. It reminded him of a Royal Guard he used to know before the big scandal six years ago. Something that the young princess would never know about. It wasn't like she would ever meet her mother anyway. "princess, you're still in your nightgown - you know ink will have a fit if you come to lessons looking like that." Classic told her. Lumine took his hand and gave his hand a tug. "Help me choose!" She requested animatedly as she tugged and pulled on him. Classic chuckled and let her take him to her wardrobe. do you think we can go into town today to meet my people? if so, i want to look good for them!" Classic started to leaf through her outfits with a hum. "there is always a possibility. now here, change into this."

Lumine had always preferred something flowy. It was something she could run better in whenever the need arises, and for a high-energy child like Princess Lumine, the need always arose. It was her favorite method of transportation. In her orange and yellow pedal dress, she was pretty much doing laps around Classic while he took her to Ink for her lessons. It was energy that Classic actually missed. It made him feel nostalgic. "here we are, princess. enjoy your lessons." Classic got the door for her, but Lumine being Lumine, she hugged onto him. "i'll see you after lessons, ok?" Classic nodded, and the princess ran in to begin. Ink, as usual, was working on art when he wasn't advising Lord Dream or teaching Lumine how to be the next monarch in line. "young princess, how do you like my masterpiece? i call it 'destroying error no. 127'! Lumine glanced at the painting of Error getting punted off a cliff, Ink weilding Broomie like a baseball bat. Though she'd never met 'Error' herself, she knew him well. "it's, uh... creative..." Lumine gave him a thumbs up, and Ink beamed at her. "wise choice, princess! shall we get started?"

After lessons, Lumine waited in the room for Classic, but after half an hour, it became apparent to her that he'd fallen asleep again. It was rather normal for him, so she decided to go find her father. Maybe if she was lucky, they could have lunch together! Lumine could almost always find him in the same spot if he wasn't out and about with the people. At his desk, looking out a window towards the Moon Empire. "papa?" Dream jumped a little and smiled at his daughter. "yes, little princess, lulu?" Lumine giggled as she tried to climb into his lap. Dream was fine to push out more so that she could. "can we eat together, papa?" Lumine pretended not to see Dream glancing at his paperwork with a slight frown. As quickly as it was there, it was gone, though, and he was smiling at her once more. "of course, my little ray of sunshine... whatever your little soul desires." Dream picked up Lumine even if she was starting to get too big for this kind of treatment. "how were your lessons today, lulu? were you good?" Dream asked as they headed off. "yeah! ink made another error painting!" She was more than happy to tell him about her morning.
