The Sun Carriage wasn't where they left it. Lumine felt her soul sink, but she was determined that she hadn't been left behind. "i'm sure they had to go out of town so that nobody would be hurt!" Lumine tried to take Cimmarian to the main road but was quickly pulled away. "Walking the main road will make us easy targets to bandits and thieves." Cimmarian explained. "There is more cover in the woods. We can keep the road in our sights." Cimmarian led Lumine to the woods near the road and guided her inside. Cimmarian grumbled at the skirts of their dresses caught and tangled on everything - if she were more prepared, she would've worn something more suited to a trip in the woods. Lumine yelped as she got caught on a particularly stubborn branch. With a huff, Cimmarian tore the fabric off. "aw... this was one of my favorites..." Cimmarian shrugged as she started to rip at her own skirt. "I'd rather have a torn dress than be dead. Keep the pieces. They might come in handy later." The Moon Princess gathered her skirt under one arm, and Lumine followed her lead with a curious expression.

"have you done this before?" Lumine asked. Cimmarian glanced back and nodded. "Survival training was a must for my papa. I'm kinda glad I got it now. Who knows how long it will be before we find that carriage..." Cimmarian didn't really like the look that flashed across Lumine's face, but she needed to be realistic. They didn't even know if Dream was actually waiting. She didn't know if Dream was even looking for Lumine. She didn't dare say that outloud, though. The Sun Princess was already looking a little ill. "it... it won't be long, i'm sure... my papa would never abandon me..." Lumine muttered, and Cimmarian crossed her arms. "I wasn't abandoned, they didn't even know I was with." Lumine backtracked, waving her free arm wildly. "no, no! i didn't mean it like that! i just - he let me come with! he knows i'm around here somewhere! ... i should've stayed in the carriage..." Cimmarian stopped walking as Lumine made a gagging noise. Was she sick? "Lumine?" Lumine made another retching sound as she sank to her knees. "LUMINE!" Cimmarian crouched beside the other and rubbed her back. "I'm here, Lumine. It'll be ok..." Was it a negativity thing?

Cimmarian carried Lumine for a while, occasionally glancing at the road to see if there was anyone. She evaded areas where the brush seemed too thick and avoided anything she thought snakes or other threatening creatures could be hiding under. Lumine didn't say much, keeping her skull hidden in Cimmarian's chest so that she could hold back the sickness she felt from 'being too negative'. Cimmarian understood. She got that way when she got too positive. "Princess! Princess Lumine!" Cimmarian paused, and Lumine's purple eyelights lit up. "lulu! call out if you can hear us!" Cimmarian couldn't help but smile herself. "Well, well, looks like you were right, LuLu." She teased softly before rushing towards the voices. "HERE! I HAVE LUMINE HERE!" She yelled out. "i hear you! i'm coming!" Cimmarian huffed out uneasily but kept going. "I HEAR YOU!" Dream and Cimmarian met halfway, the Moon Princess panting softly as she stared up at the Sun King. Dream looked equally surprised and slightly suspicious. "papa... i knew we'd find you... cimmarian needs help... going home..." Hearing Lumine seemed to snap Cimmarian out of her stupor, and she stepped closer, offering her to Dream. "She got sick... too much negativity..." Dream took his daughter, nodding. "thank you, cimmarian. let's... get you girls out of here, yeah?" Cimmarian nodded and followed Dream.
