Running, running was the only option you had in mind at the moment. Running for your life, is it really beneficial for this situation? Or maybe there is another way. A melting pot of emotions located in your heart; fear, sadness, anxiety, anger, confusion and more emotions that only a person in your place would feel. Realizing that you lost your life again after you had a second chance; will you blame yourself for wasting this opportunity once again? Only time can answer this.

At the moment y/n was heading eastward. Why? Even she doesn't know why. But as long as the bandits are following her, never mind where is she heading as far as she can escape for the sake of her life. Y/n's state was miserable; her ankles were soft, a bleeding throat, tired were her legs and lungs. When she no longer can hear the screams of those heartless bandits anymore, she hides in a deep wood.

“I*huff*,*huff*, I think I lost them,” she said under her breath.
But when she thought she was in a safe place, while she was breathing out, a sudden noise of cutting rope with a sharp knife was heard. It did take her more than she needed to make a decision when a giant rock flew from the right side of the forest which it hit her on her head. She tried to cover her head with her arms, but they were too tired to handle that force. Y/n, and is now on the floor, is about to pass out. Her last blurry view is a large goatskin boots and unrecognized voices.

“Let‟s take her to the king.” The voice said.

“King…” those last activated brain cells which this word was repeated in Y/n's head the second left before she was off.
Incomprehensible words you hear along the way, until you open your eyes. The two unknown people drop you on the floor, your hands are tied behind your back, and that makes the blood circulation hard to reach them. But your brain is busy right now trying to find out where the hell you are or what happened to you.

Everything is happening at the same time you can't be aware of yourself. It takes a few seconds to raise your head your hair covering your face makes it more difficult for you to see clearly, not to mention the pain and tiredness

My head hurts. why my head is spinning.”

You were drowning in thoughts until you raised your head a little higher to see someone sitting on a throne. He speaks up.

“Well, well, look what we have here. Finally, something interesting happened today. You don't belong to this mountain, do you?” His voice was like bells ringing in your ears.

“I guess you should explain to me what you were doing in my kingdom, little one?” sitting still on his throne, landing his cheek on his fist. His face was like that of a thunder god, with golden eyes that could make the Milky Way shine brighter. He is wearing a crown of two phoenix feathers, a red cape on his shoulders, and a tiger skin kilt on his waist. Brown-orange hair and fur. Gold and silver around his wrists and arms.

He throws a suspicious glare at you, waiting for answers. “Is this the king?” you said to yourself. “Is he an evil spirit?

Evil…evil spirit” Suddenly, you remembered that these two words weren't odd. “You evil spirit! Kill that evil spirit!” Of course, you remembered what people used to call you so often in the past few hours. Slowly, you start collecting the puzzles of your memories. That rock that hit you sure was able to ruin your brain system; your bloody forehead proved it as well. You have no choice but to explain your situation to the person in front of you.

“I… I was- *cough*,*cough*” a blood start stripping out of your mouth as you coughed, there's no way of speaking, you were running for hours, your throat forgot how to speak. The king made his move, stood up, grabbed a bottle, opened it, and crouched to your level.

“I suppose your throat is dry. Here some cold water,” he said, letting out a sweet smile. What a weird way to act toward a stranger like you! Breathing air was painful; such foolishness it will be to deny him. He holds the bottle for you, and you drank almost half of the water in it; you need it after all. After you finished, he closed the bottle and gave it to a servant next to him.

“You feel better now; can you speak?” he said, waiting for you to take your breath.

“Yes, thank you.” You finally spoke up. He let out a chuckle and said, “HA! No need to tell me; I know that I'm generous." “In any case, can you answer my question I asked you before?”

Considering he's the king, you must talk politely since you don't know what will happen if anything goes wrong. You looked at the ground for a few seconds, then raised your head to face him. With trembling lips, you spoke.

“Your highness, I'm truly sorry for stepping on your property this way. The reason I dared to do so was that it was the only way for me to escape from some bandits who wanted to kill me. T-they burned down my village and destroyed the only thing I call my home.” Y/n is now tearing up as she bows her head to touch the ground. “They killed my two sisters, and also a bunch of people too. I was lucky enough to run away, and that's how I got here, but if you release me today, I swear for you to never see my face again."

The king crossed his arms and asked,

“I see. Did the bandits follow you to the mountain?” She raised her head and replied,

“Yes, I guess so." “HAHA! THIS IS FANTASTIC!” he shouted, which scared you. “How is that fantastic?”

You were confused since it wasn't the reaction you expected.

“I was so bored these past couple of months that I was wondering if anything amusing would happen. Thanks to your presence, you brought them here. I can take care of them,” the owner of the throne said while stretching his arms and legs.

“Can you do it on your own, really?”

He let out a chuckle and pulled out a tiny stick from his ear, which he swung until it became thick and long. Landing it on the ground causes it to shake.

“What you don't know about me is that I can subdue dragons and tigers. The ten kings of hell fear me, and the celestial creatures wish not to interact with me. I am the great sage equaling heaven, Sun Wukong himself.” He said it proudly and waited for you to show your reaction, but unfortunately, you've never heard of him or any of the people he mentioned. So, you just sit there without giving a sign of amazement. He sure was disappointed; he thought everyone knew him by now. But since he's in a good mood, nothing bad will happen—for the moment.

“Anyway, what's your name?” He changed the topic, asking her for her name.

“Uh, it's y/n, sir."

“Y/n, huh? I never heard of it. Well, never mind; stay here until I come back.”

He then ordered the guards to untie your hands. You were happy; you're free now, and your body can rest. “Take care of her; she's our special guest,” he smirked before leaving on his cloud. His final move left you spacing out for a solid minute. And you returned to reality when you heard a feminine voice say,

“My lady, may I guide you to your room so I can take care of your injuries?”.
