CHAPTER 2: NEW LIFE

The time you turned to see whose voice this belongs to, you saw a beautiful woman, and that is what she looks like: snow-white skin, three scratches in each of her cheeks, white hair, which she's pining up like an Oieran. She wears white clothes with fuzzy fur on the collar, red lips, brown eyes, and a white fox tail. She's definitely a fox spirit. She helped you stand up and took you inside the palace behind the waterfall of the flower-fruit mountain, choosing one of the many rooms in it.

“May I trouble you to rest down on this bed while I can heal you, my lady?” the servant said.

So you did. She starts reciting a magic spell and starts healing your injuries. All this time, you were silent, you were staring at the roof.

“May I ask you your name?” You  finally opened your mouth.

“My name? Why do you want to know it?” The servant replied by giving you a look.

“I only want to thank you properly, that's all.”

“No need to thank me. I only serve his  highness.”

You throw her a glance. “You know I won't rest if you don't tell me,” the lady sighed, and then said, “It's Yu; Yu is my name.” The fox spirit ends up introducing herself.

“Thank you, Yu.” You smiled softly.

“I already told you, no need to” Yu didn't finish her sentence after she saw you shutting your eyes and goes to sleep. She finished her healing process, covered you with a blanket, and left the room.

You recovered very well. Rolling left and right on the bed, your messy hair is everywhere on the pillow. Slowly open your eyes, stretching your body.

“Good morning.”

“AHHH!!” the sudden voice alarmed you to see Yu standing next to you.

“OMG! Yu, where did you come from?” “I've been here the whole time.”

“Oh, I totally didn't see you, huh. You scared the CRAP out of me.”

“Sorry about that; I was very worried you wouldn't wake up; you've been sleeping for three days.”

“What? Three whole days, for real?”

“I'm afraid so, my lady.”

“Well, I guess I was so tired after all,” you mumbled to yourself, but suddenly you remembered something.

“Wait, what about the king?”

“He had returned the day you fall asleep, he also asked about you.”

“He did?”

“He said he wanted to talk to you after you wake up. So please, can you follow me to take a bath?”

“A bath?”

“Yes, a bath; you don't want to meet the king with how you look right now, do you?”

“Alright, alright. I’m coming”

You both walked to a hidden area behind the mountain, where the vapors of the hot springs were. You took your chance to bless your eyes with the beautiful scene of the spring and nature; with the sounds of the water splashing on the rocks and the wind tickling the hot water. You took off your clothes and put them beside you. You dive your legs into the water, and then your whole body, with the water reaching your shoulders.

“This is one of the best events I have experienced so far. Hey, Yu! You're not going to join me?” you asked.

Yu titled her head and smiled. “I appreciate your kindness. But I'll be happier to serve you than anything else; it's my job.”

“Whaaat? But I want to share this moment with you, plus I didn't ask for a servant. Couldn't you just enjoy your time a little?”

Y/n said. Yu laughed as you showed a cute, disappointed face.

“The mighty king is the one who ordered me to serve you. I will never disobey him. But don't worry, I can be here for you if you want to talk or anything.” You raised an eyebrow and said, “Is he really that severe? He looked nice to me.”

“Severe is not actually the right word to describe him. In fact, he's quite  one of the complex beings. But he's the strongest of all the demon kings, older and younger than him In this Flower-Fruit mountain. No one dares to get under his skin.”

“How strong is he?” You were a bit surprised and afraid at the same time. “Where should I start? He was born with no parents but from a rock that split once open of time, and since the day he got his golden-banded staff, no one could declare himself on top of him. Not only here on earth, but he reached heavens and hells, forcing them to recognize him as the GREAT SAGE EQUAL TO HEAVEN. His strength of will, that pride, that stubbornness... following his heart and doing as he liked without a single care in the world, following his desires, demonstrating the true definition of freedom. How exhilarating.”

You couldn't believe what you just heard. Even if you were in a hot spring, talking about him like that gives you a chill in your spine. Seeing how she was so afraid to talk about him makes you certain that she was serious.

“It's so scary if you hear it like that, yes. But keep in mind that he's doing this for his people's sake. If you get to know him more, you'll know he's not what people think.” Yu tried to cool down the tentions with what she said.

“Speaking of which, we should hurry up and meet him.” She said, as she raised her gaze, and face yours.

“Here are some new clothes for you.”

She offered you clean clothes made of true silk. Oh! How gorgeous you'd look if you wore them! After you finished bathing, Yu took care of you excellently. Just look at the open-shoulder dress, the beautiful hair style, and the shining crimson lipstick. She did know what she was doing.

“Don't you think this is too much for a meeting?” you asked Yu while she was fixing the final touch.

“Trust me, this is for your own good,” she said.

“How is that good in any case?" You were confused, but you let her do her work. She stood silent without any kind of hint or clarification.

“Alright, I finished!”

“So, is it good on me?” you asked for her opinion.

Yu smiled putting her hands on her sleeves.

“Trust me, even the moon will hide from how beautiful and stunning you look." Yu was so honest; her sight says it all. “E..Eh, ha ha, stop joking around,” you blushed when you heard his compliment. “Now, it's all up to you. You can do it.”

“Do what?”
She starts pushing you outside the room.

“WA..wait, what do you mean?”

“Don't worry about it, just go to your meeting; you can't make the king wait much longer than that.”

“Wait, you're not coming?”

“I can only accompany you to the front door; nothing further.”

“WHAT?!” She kept pushing you to the throne hall, where the king was sitting on his throne eating fruits. You were finally there, and Yu bowed in respect, saying.

“Your majesty, I brought Y/n to you after she woke up just like you ordered. I can now leave, wishing not to disturb you. You watched your accompaniment leave and shut the door behind her, leaving you there alone with the monkey king. You returned your view to The figure on the throne. You felt a bit of stress and fear; no one can save you if anything goes wrong. Just like Yu said, it's all up to you now.

Bonus fact:

The fact that Sun Wukong was born from a stone and doesn't have parents, made everyone even Him to believe that his parents are Heaven and Earth. Because the stone he was born from was formed along with the universe when it was created.
