Amity is calling...

Boscha sat by her desk, a pencil in hand, tapped it on her desk. It had been hours since she was at work, if she was lucky enough she wouldn't be fired. But this was so much more important. She looked at the clock.

"Ugh, 5 pm already? Can't it go faster, I want to sleep." She groaned and pulled her pink hair out of her bun, walking into the bathroom. She had left her phone there, her phone was calling.

Shit, her phone was calling. Amity was calling her. Boscha snatched her phone off the sink and answered the call.

"Boscha! Oh thank god you took the phone. Have you seen Luz? She hasn't come home. She isn't responding to my calls or messages!"

Boscha's heart stung by hearing Amity's voice. Had she been crying? Poor thing, she must have been panicking!

"Amity..." Boscha started, resting herself against the sink.

"Is she dead?" Amity chocked out, panic in her voice.

"No, no...Amity. She is not dead. You need to listen to everything I tell you okay." Boscha spoke, her voice shaking, and snapped a little as she spoke to Amity.

The other side of the call was silenced.

"Fuck..." Boscha sweared under her breath. "Amity? Are you there? Please promise me, don't go over there. it won't help and go and talk to her, Luz is too deep down in Trinity's hole to have her own thoughts."

"I thought...Trinity had changed. But this is so much worse than what she did to me..."

"Please Amity. I beg you, if you go over there and try to talk to her, it won't work. We need to find out something else."

"But—"

"No but's Amity Blight! This is serious. If that horrible woman could do something like she did now, imagine what she did when they were dating? Imagine how far she would go to get Luz. She's an obsessive narcissist!" Boscha spoke, trying to keep her voice calm but determined, trying her best not to snap by the anger that filled her throat.

Boscha took a deep breath.
"I'm sorry Amity. But in this situation, the truth doesn't work. It doesn't work coming from you."

Amity coughed hoarsely. Boscha's heart ached, she hated this. She didn't like seeing her best friend so heart broken.

"I'm gonna end the call." Amity spoke.

"...okay. Don't do anything. We will find this out."

"O-okay.." Amity replied her voice wobbling, she was on the verge of tears again. Boscha could hear her take a sharp breath, trying her hardest not to cry.

"What's your plan?" She asked. Boscha thought for a second. "Let me think some more okay? I will pick you up and talk about it when we're in the car. You're outside in the rain aren't you.?"

"I am." Amity replied, her voice still filled with sadness. Boscha understood Amity's sadness a little, she would also be heart broken if Amity believed that Boscha did horrible stuff with false information.

But this was different, this was someone Amity was in love with. And honestly she had never seen Amity so in love with anyone before.

In the distance she saw Amity standing in on the side walk and looked completely broken. Amity and Luz didn't deserve this. Boscha stopped her car and opened the door to the passenger seat, letting in a blight that was as soaked as a cat in the rain.
