Get up Irshad, it's 5.30 AM....you will have to go for fajr," said Farhana as she banged on Irshad's door.
"Two minutes mamma, I'll wake up," mumbled Irshad, drowsily and suddenly he woke straight after connecting the dots that his mom actually took the initiative to start speaking with him again.

He quickly got up from his bed and opened the door as he found her reading the Quran on the big sofa. With a wide grin in his face, he directed himself towards Farhana, but then realization struck him that she won't respond anyways now that she was so concentrated on reading. Neither Irshad wanted to disturb her while she was reading the Quran.

Irshad went to the washroom to take a quick shower and dressed himself neatly. By the time he reached the masjid, it was almost late. He joined the congregation and prayed to his fullest.

After completing his prayer, he rushed back home   so eagerly to talk with his mom. He thought that his mom's stubbornness would continue for two more days, yet he was so glad that she started talking with him. With full excitement, he banged open the door and went all the way through her room only to see her sleeping. With utter disappointment, Irshad went straight up to his bedroom to sleep. He didn't want to wake his mom up just to talk with him.Well not every Desi mom's are fond of talking just some random stuff so early in the morning.

"Mamma, I have to go to college today for the interview so prepare my breakfast until I get ready," shouted Sara all over from her room.

"Will you shut up Sara! You are disturbing my sleep so early in the morning," screamed Irshad who was now already wide awake from all that noise.

"Get ready Irshad! You have to drop me off at college today. Am already late, you better come out real quick," ordered Sara. Sara is a silent and calm girl most of the time but when she is in a hurry she turns chaotic.

"Breakfast's ready, come down everyone," called out Farhana as she arranged the food on the dining table. Soon enough, Sara and Irshad came to the dining hall to gobble up their food. Irshad was eating his toast with a big grin on his face  and his mood was so perfect until Sara destroyed it.

"What's up big bro? You look so happy today?" questioned Sara wondering how he had such a mood to smile like that in spite of all that drama that happened yesterday.

"Mamma talked with me earlier, and now the awkwardness between us is gone," claimed Irshad as he flicked Sara's forehead.

"Whaaat? Is that true mamma?" Asked Sara.

"Tell him not to dream too much. Although he has drawn closer to Shaitaan. I don't want him to become kaafir by missing his Salah and that's why I woke him up for Fajr." replied Farhana with a blank face. Although she was slightly taken aback by Irshad's behaviour, she wanted to control him this time. She wanted him to stop all this nonsense. She wanted all of it to end this time.

It was a straight slap on Irshad's face, Sara on the   other hand laughed so hard. Irshad was so embarrassed that he went straight to his mother and stood like a statue.

"Mamma tell me! What should I do, so that you will stop treating me this way?" pleaded Irshad. The last sentence of her speaking with Irshad was out of full resentment. That look she gave him was filled with heartbreaks and disappointment, where she dashed out of the hall after complaining everything to his dad. Every time he started a conversation with her, she would straight away ignore him. Irshad wouldn't have complained if she slapped him but not talking with him was worse he thought.
