                  After one Month

Inaya was very delighted to enter the new phase of her life with a positive attitude. She didn't want to dwell on the things which made her lose her sanity. She wanted to solely focus on the positive aspects that she planned to do earlier and this was something which she constantly had to remember, for the darkness of the past was so ambiguous which blocked the light to the future.

She didn't have to mask her emotions now, because she had covered her past safely and locked it up and kept it in the corner of her heart. She also knows that if anyone tried to trigger it, it would again swirl around her head and break free from her heart.

Inaya got up from her prayer mat, after coming to a conclusion to calm her fiery mind. Like always, she found comfort in speaking all these things with Allah than to his creations. There is this spark she gets when, she talks things out to her lord that she never gets from anyone.

As soon as she  completed her online class, she went to take a cold bath. It has now become a habit for her to take cold baths, when she gets bombarded with thoughts.

After completing her breakfast, she went upstairs to pray her nawafil ( Sunnah prayer). Inaya would always start anything big by praying extra sunnah prayers. She then sat for a moment to pray that everything that's going to start from today onwards should be positive and that she should have immense patience for handling things.

Inaya rushed to take a look at her wardrobe to check out the best attire that would be perfect for her to wear on her first day of college. Although she covers it up with her Abaya later on, who wouldn't want to dress themselves up.

Inaya wore a yellow kurta with flowery embroidery at the sleeves. She then matched it with black skinny jeans. Later on she retrieved her new abaya that her dad bought for her, when he went to new delhi last week and then wore her black hijab and now she was done. If it was the other times she would have worn colored abaya but now she wanted to follow a proper black hijab code since it was a co-ed college.

"Mamma, I'll be leaving then, see you in the afternoon. In sha Allah." waved Inaya as she took out her scooty which was parked in the garage.

               AT THE CLASSROOM

Inaya came to the classroom quite early, as she wanted to observe the environment of her new class. Soon after entering the classroom, she was amazed by how big the classroom looked.

The classroom was well ventilated as it has two big windows on both the sides. Since it was a co-ed college, there were two rows which was separated by stairs in between. It looks like the right row was for boys and the left was for the girls, as she can see that most of the students sitting in that order and having conversations with others. This classroom was high tech and was equipped to tackle any emergency with the fire alarm, fire extinguisher etc. In front, there was a big table for the lecturer and it also had a projector and a white board.

Inaya was awestsruck by how the class looked, and sat in the front seat all by herself. She was then intruded by a honey cladding voice, "Uhmm..Hey! Assalamualaikum. Can I sit next to you, if you don't mind ?"

Inaya felt a lil awkward to talk to a stranger but she managed to smile, "Wa alaikumussalam warahmatullah....yep! you can,"

"Are you new here or did you do your bachelor's here ?" questioned the other girl, who now sat comfortably next to Inaya.

"Am actually new here," replied Inaya in one flow not knowing how to continue the conversation. Inaya stared at the girl for few seconds, before diverting her gaze elsewhere because she felt that she had seen her somewhere.

"I am Hiba, what's yours?"

"Its Inaya"

"Well, your quite quiet and composed," remarked Hiba

Inaya dint know what to reply for that, as she was indeed a lil shy to interact normally to this new classmate of hers.

"Its just Eight, do you want to just go around the campus to get familiarize with the environment?" asked Hiba.

To put a full stop to this awkwardness, Inaya agreed to go around the campus, with the new classmate.

As they stepped out of the class, they heard a group of students talking about Mystic garden.
Inaya herself, was curious to go take a look at that place. Before she could even realize she asked Hiba about that place.

"Woah, so now your starting the conversation huh?" giggled Hiba as she continued , "But yea, even I was curious about this Mystic Garden that everyone's talking about....but I guess, most of the students would already be there. So is it alright for you to go to a place full of human beings now?" Questioned Hiba. It was crystal clear that, even Hiba didn't like crowded places just like Inaya.

Inaya chuckled at how Hiba was allergic to crowded people just like her, and she thought to herself ' maybe she is just like me ' .

"I was thinking the same, so how about we go to the canteen. I heard it's just five minutes away from our class." Suggested Inaya.

"Now that you say canteen, I  remember that I didn't eat my breakfast yet and I am quite hungry too. My treat! Come lets go," chirped Hiba as both of them went to the canteen.

After ordering a pair of sandwiches for herself, Hiba asked Inaya what she would like to eat. Inaya was not much of an eater, so she just ordered a coffee.

"Okay! Done with the formalities now, let's be friends" said Hiba with a mischievous smirk.

Inaya was amused by how this girl in front of her, had different personalities. Like, morning when she met Inaya for the first time, she was a silent and timid person who just wanted to sit next to her. Then she started conversing a lil bit. Then all of a sudden she asked to tour around the campus ,as if she had known Inaya for such a long time. Now she wants to be friends?

"It's actually, that it feels like I've seen you somewhere," voiced out Hiba and continued, " but I don't remember where."

Inaya didn't utter anything, and she just smiled at her, because obviously, she didn't know how to answer that question either. But Inaya also had this sense of familiarity with her.

"You actually, ignored my question twice, but nevermind. Where did you do your bachelors?" Asked Hiba, as she took another bite of her sandwich.

"Sacred heart,"

"Oh My God! That was why, It felt like that! Even I studied there. What a coincidence for us to study in the same college for three exact years?" Shouted Hiba.

"Ohhh! That's Qadr of Allah... I guess" smiled Inaya.

"Okay Inaya, its 8.25 now... I guess we should get back now or else we will be late for our first class"  commented Hiba as she checked out her watch.

Irshad on the other hand, was so late for his first day of college. So he quickly parked his car in the parking area and sprinted towards his class, not knowing who is coming in front. As he took another step, he bumped at Inaya. Inaya fell down with a thud and her phone and her bag flew in two opposite sides.

"Excuse me mister, watch where your going" shouted Inaya in a stern voice, suprising Hiba who was clueless, about how Inaya had such a temper.

"Am sorry" said Irshad as he bent down to take her bag and phone to give it to the right owner. Only when he lifted his face , did he know whom he had bumped at.
