Alex: ...And that's it

Jasmine: So there's an organization that tries to capture demons and they're called what again?

Alex: D.H.O.R.K.S

Jasmine: what kind of a... What's it stands for anyway?

Alex: Honestly I don't know, Mom. If they're that crazy on capturing any evidence that demons are crossing to the living world, they mean business

Jasmine nodded as they continued eating breakfast, last night she saw her son covered in blood much to her horror. She was about to scold him when he just collapses on to the floor

Alex's phone started to ring, he saw that it was Octavia who was calling and answered it

Alex: Octavia, surprised you've called me this early

Jasmine furrowed her eyebrow and nonchalantly listening to their conversation

Octavia: (sniff) Alex...I need your help

As Alex heard her sniffing, he immediately stands up and walked to the bathroom

Alex: What happened?

Octavia: Mom and Dad... (sniff) Same old, same old. I—I just want someone to talk to...

Alex: Ok. Send me your address and I'll meet you there

Octavia: Thank you...

As Octavia hanged up, he received her text and immediately went to his motorcycle

Jasmine: What's wrong?

Alex: It's Octavia...she uh, having some family problem and wanted me to go there

Jasmine: Octavia? That owl girl that you showed me days ago?

Alex: Yeah, anyways I'll be going, bye Mom

Jasmine: Remember. Don't disappoint her father

Alex looked at her in confusion and just shook his head

Timeskip

As Alex slowed down, he saw the royal palace and all its glory. The garden was pristine and design was extravagant but within those walls, he mused, was a broken family

Alex then took out his phone and called Octavia, not long afterwards. She answered

Octavia: Alex?

Alex: I'm just outside of your house, where are you?

Octavia: South wing, there'll be a ladder waiting for you

Alex: Ok

He then jogged to the south wing, avoiding being seen by the staff and security. One of the hellhounds guards almost caught him but he used a piece of steak to distract the guard

As he approaches the south wing, he saw the ladder that was being used by an Imp painter. He scaled up and landed and saw her huddled in her hands and feet

Alex knocks her window, as Octavia saw him. She then unlocks it and steps right in

Alex: Hey, how ya—

Octavia immediately hugs him and sobbed quietly onto his chest, Alex patted her head and reciprocated the hug

Alex: It's that bad, huh?

Octavia subtly nodded while still hugging him

Alex: Well, I'm here now. I brought my console, you want to play some games. I even got some human games too

Octavia: ...Okay

Alex then took out the mini console from his bag and connects it to her TV, from then on they were playing both latest and classic games. Alex even got beaten from his favorites much to his surprise while Octavia huffed her chest in pride
