Chapter IV
Caballeros De Trébol
Location: Castle of Trebol gardens
A blooming scent of sweet aromatic botany and freshly cut grass invaded the wind in the gardens. A radiant sun bestowed upon all below with an enveloping warm embrace. The Royal family enjoyed this morning with an exquisite breakfast.
Freshly baked toasted brioche bread, accompanied by a juicy roast beef, so tender it would practically dissolve to the bite like butter. Jars of wine and freshly made lemonade in perspiring chilled golden cups were next to the bacon and egg plates. A cornucopia of the ripest fruits placed at the center of the table. Such a perfect day to be born of royalty, nevertheless all good things can quickly be ruined.
A group of knights entered the gardens to bestow troubling news to the King. The knights walked to where the Royal family were dining and kneeled before them, the head knight wished to deliver a message to the king.King Osvald: I hope this is something of grave importance for you to address me at such a time.
Trébol Knight: Please my lords forgive me. Lord Chrome asked for your presence in regards to Orobas of Lilium, it seems he is no longer.
King Osvald: That's enough! Take me to Chrome at once.
Trébol Knight: Yes my lord, please this way.
The knights escorted the king to the castle's archives. At the center of the archives on a large, round, marble table; with ancient history books neatly piled around him. The general of the second division "Rencor Knights" Chrome Errante sat calmly, lost in text and awaiting his lord. The king arrives escorted by the knights, and an annoyed face covers him. Chrome immediately stands and greets his lord with a bow.
( Chrome Errante: A tall thin man with a blonde faux hawk fade. Gray tranquil eyes and a calm expressionless face. Equipped with a golden royal armor issued to generals of the rencor knights. He carried three swords around his waist, one smaller than the next.
Chrome: Your majesty, may I apologize first for calling you without notice. I have received word from one of my lords vassals that the immortal lich Orobas has been slain. Not only that but his whole lair was burnt to ashes.
King Osvald: What! What about the slaves?
Chrome: I'm terribly sorry my lord but according to reports there were no slaves found alive. It seemed a massacre took place, if I may be granted a guess I would say our neighboring kingdom "Leal" was the one responsible for such an act.
King Osvald: This is outrageous, they obviously wanted to deliver a message. Yet this is too drastic of a measure, just for our small inconvenience with our lack of slave shipments a month ago. That bastard Orobas was already punished for taking too many liberties with our slaves. Although this makes no sense, why would Leal destroy the only source of their forced labor? Chrome take these Knights and investigate that filth Orobas's lair, something isn't right here I can feel it.
Chrome: Yes your majesty!
The Knights and Chrome made haste and headed out towards Lilium.
Chrome: Knights we will head now to the Lilium forest. I expect you all to be fully equipped for the task our lord has bestowed upon us, for you know well that I am not one to hesitate in dropping dead weight.
The knights felt the heavy pressure of Chrome's words and responded with a quick acknowledgement. While heading out of the castle, they crossed paths with someone in the main hall who would notice Chrome and the three knights behind him. The three knights bowed in respect.
( Miria Sombría: First division knights general. A tall thin woman with emerald green eyes. short black hair and a gorgeous, expressionless, porcelain face. Her golden issued armor was fitting, highlighting every toned and exquisite curve her body possessed. A short blue cape completed her armor set.)
