Chapter 4

We see how Poppy and Creek's relationship is and what Creek and Branch do for a living at their jobs.

That late evening Poppy went home skipping and smiling so happy with the day, she got home and went inside and saw Creek sitting on the couch doing paperwork on the coffee table.

She sighed silently. ''Hey hon.'' She said faking a smile.

''Hey beautiful, where have you been?'' He asked smiling at her in a creepy way.

''I was catching up with--an old friend.'' She said not wanting to lie but also not wanting to say who it was. Creek knew about her and Branch in earlier years, and they didn't get along at all.

''That's nice.'' He held out his hand and grabbed her pulling her sideways on his lap his hands lightly squeezing her thighs and leans in kissing her passionately. She kisses back halfhearted there was no spark or anything between them, but she had to pretend nothing happened, then his phone went off and he pulls away from Poppy setting her next to him, he nodded. ''Yeah, ok I'll be there shortly.'' He hung up and stood up cleaning his paperwork.

''So, who was that?'' She asked curiously and shook her head it wasn't the first time he threw her off for a call.

''Oh, one of my trainers needs some help so I'm gonna go assist.'' He said.

''Seriously? Its 9 at night can't it wait for tomorrow?'' She asked frowning.

''No love we've been though this, they need help I have to help family comes first.'' He said.

''Clearly.'' She spat.

''Poppy.'' He started like talking to a child.

''Fine go take of the problem. When will you be back?'' She asked.

''Not sure love if I get back early enough we'll pick up where we left off but don't wait up love.'' He said kissing her cheek and leaving.

Poppy sighed she should of felt sad and upset but she didn't mind she was relieved he was gone she was still thinking of Branch and seeing him tomorrow, she went upstairs to the big guest bedroom she liked sleeping in there rather then the master bed besides Creek was hardly there and laid down watching tv and fell asleep dreaming of Branch.

The next morning Branch woke up to the sound of his alarm normally he hated the noise but today he got up and got ready he took a shower and then put on his work shirt and pants and went into the kitchen and made himself some coffee he then went out to the balcony porch and took in the air he was excited and wanted the day to fly by so he could see Poppy, he sighed happily and picked a couple of flowers from the flower bed he planted and made a bouquet of flowers and smiles as he grabbed an apple and left he passed Poppy's place and set the flowers at the door got in his car and sent her a text.

Poppy woke up and saw her phone going off and saw the text. 'Look on the steps outside, I can't wait to see you this evening.'

Poppy ran down the stairs and went to the door opened it and saw the small bouquet of flowers with a card that said 'I love you.'

She giggled and went back inside, she couldn't be happier.

Downtown in a tall building with 4 floor on the 4th floor that Creek owned with all yoga rooms a door opened and out walked Creek and a hot orange female troll with blue eyes and brown hair she was fit and curvy and her breasts were pushed up all the way to her chest about to pop from her sports bra and she wore shorts and they were laughing.

''Thank you for helping me last night Creek you are great at what you do.'' The female troll named Ariana who was blushing.

''No worries love it was my pleasure helping you out everyone needs help and I'm happy you asked me and not anyone else.'' He grins hugging her.
