Chapter 6

Branch and Poppy go out for their first date night full of fun and romance.

'Hmm lets see what do I have that would work?'' Poppy asked herself walking though the walk in closet.

She grabbed a dress. ''Nah too 80's.'' She pulled out a couple more. ''Too desperate.''

She then had an idea and grabbed her purse and left. She walked until she came to a dress shop and went in and the door rang, she heard talking and footsteps.

''POPPY!'' She heard in unison.

She smiled there was her two long life friends who had fashion. ''SATIN! CHENILLE!''

They all had a group hug. ''How have you been girl?'' Satin asked.

''We haven't seen you in months.'' Chenille said smiling.

''Yeah sorry been a bit busy.. but I need your girls help. I need a dress that says wild, fun, a bit flashy and sexy something I can move in.'' She said looking at them.

''We got ya follow us to the back.'' Satin said as they pulled Poppy to the back.

Poppy stood on the stool and let the girls take her measurments.

''So lets see what color were you thinking?'' Asked Chenille.

''I was thinking royal blue mini dress with sequins.'' Poppy said smiling.

''Ok so I was thinking something like this what do you think Poppy?'' Satin said showing her a notebook with the mini strapless dress.

''Oh Satin its perfect!'' Poppy squealed.

''And will this color blue work?'' Asked Chenille showing the color of blue.

''Perfect.'' Poppy smiled.

The girls got to work. ''So Poppy what's the special occassion Creek taking you to another one of his boring meetings.'' Teased Satin.

''Um no this one is for me Suki is going to meet a guy in a night club and wanted me to go with her so yeah I decided I would.'' Poppy said.

''I see and is Creek ok with this?'' Chenille asked looking at Satin both girls hated Creek.

''I wouldn't know he's never around and I need something to do.'' Poppy said.

''Well you'll have to tell us how it goes.'' Satin said.

They all talked and finally a couple hours later the twins smile. ''Ok Poppy here what do you think?'' Asked Satin.

Poppy had on the dress and was shocked. ''Woah its I'm speechless.'' She gasped in awe.

''Anything for you Poppy.'' Satin said.

''How much?'' She asked.

''Its on the house we missed you and it was nice to catch up.'' The twins hugged Poppy as she left.

That evening Poppy had taken a shower then got out with her robe on her dress was in the closet where nobody cared to look and she came out and heard Creek downstairs she went down and saw him pacing around on the phone talking.

''Yeah ok well I got to go I will see what I can do.'' He hung up and saw Poppy come down.

''Hey beautiful.'' He smiled.

''Hi your home early.'' She said.

''Yeah only here for an hour then I have to go back, Karma didn't show up so I have to take over the class.'' He sat down with a beer.

''Nice.'' She said walking to go back up he grabbed her hand.

''What are you up to? I thought we could order in and-''
