Chapter 7

Branch and Poppy spend part of the morning together.. Creek gets blackmailed. 

The next morning Poppy yawns and turns over to see a sleepy smiling Branch.

''Good morning Branch.'' She giggled quietly.

''Morning beautiful with bed hair.'' He teased as he leans over and kisses her as she kisses back, his hands on her cheek stroking it as they continue their passionate embrace.

They pulled away and snuggled. ''Last night was so much fun.'' Poppy hummed.

''Yeah it was and I had you to share it with.'' He kisses her cheek his lips moving down her neck as she moans and grips his chest.

''Ahh Branch.'' She purred.

Both looked down and realized they were nude and they shrugged it off laughing. ''So did we do it again when we got home?'' The pink troll asked.

''No I wanted to but you were pretty much out of it and I'm not taking advantage of you like that.'' He winks as he gets up walking to grab his robe and walked out.

Poppy sighed smiling and she got up and put on a hot pink tight tee shirt with a jean skirt, she got herself ready and went down to see Branch making coffee and breakfast his paperwork on the bar table.

''Here an omlet and bacon with orange juice for you.'' He winks as their hands touched giving her food.

''Thanks hon but wait no coffee?'' She asked leaning over as they kiss.

''No because if I recall when we were together coffee in the morning was not a good thing for you making you hyper all morning.'' He joked.

''So you have paperwork to do today?" She asked.

''Yeah I have to get it done before I got back in tomorrow.'' He said eating.

''Oh.'' Poppy said a bit sad he'd be working on paperwork all day,

''So what should we do today?'' He asked looking at her.

''I thought you had paperwork to do today?'' She asked looking back at him finishing her bacon.

''I do but I should be done by this evening, so if you want you can pick out a movie for us to see this evening if you want.'' He suggested.

''You mean it?'' She asked excitedly.

''Yeah, you can do it here before you go home or when your at home and text me the time.'' He smiles.

''Oh yeah.'' She frowns not wanting to go home as she finished breakfast.

Branch felt bad he didn't want her to leave. ''I know Poppy but for this to work we have to go on as if nothing is happening but I will see you this evening.''

He took their plates and places them in the sink as Poppy starts working on them.

''No Poppy you don't have-''

''Branch if I'm gonna be staying here I'm gonna help out.'' She winks.

''Ok thanks love but then you should go home.'' He said hating to say that.

She nodded and did the dishes and he helped her once they were done they stood at the door making out before she pulled away. ''See you this evening.'' She whispered.

''See you my love.'' He kisses her as she left.

Poppy walked home and when she went inside to the kitchen she got a surprise and saw Creek reading the paper he puts it down looking at her.

''Well you finally decided to come home I see.'' He said in a annoyed tone.

''Yeah I do live here.'' She said getting some water.

''So where were you last night?'' He asked a bit upset.

''I left you a message I went out with Suki and her date and I was staying the night with her.'' Poppy said shrugging.

''Really? I never got that message.'' He frowned standing up.

''Maybe you should pay attention to your damn phone.'' She shot back glaring.

''Not funny so where did you guys go?'' He asked.

''Why does it matter I mean I wanted to go out and have some fun so I did, why are you even at home? I thought you were staying in one of your studios?'' She questioned shaking her head.

''You know I was gonna stay over there but Aspen reminded me that I have a wife and I should make an effort I came back around 9 you were gone and I waited up all night hopping to spend time with you and pick up where we left off.'' He rasied his voice. ''And this is what I get an empty house?!''

''Well now you know how I feel when your always gone or leave in the middle of something hurts doesn't it?'' She spat.

He stood up and went over to her and rasied his hand but then grabbed her arm roughly pulling her to the living room and shoving her on the couch he took a deep breath and sat next to her slapped her face and grab her cheeks roughly squeezing them with one hand so she was looking at him.

''Poppy darling I have a job to do-- to provide for you and that means sacrifices but you also have a job and that is to be here and be a good little housewife and always be here when I need you not run off and I swear if I find you did this to get payback its not gonna end well for you.'' He growled pushing her back.

Poppy shaking a bit. ''Its true Creek you're never at home besides for this damned relationship to work it has to go both ways not one.'' Poppy said getting mad at him.

''No you are my wife! I'm the one in charge and your job is to do what I say and when I say it love and I think I need to teach you who is in charge.'' He growls pinning her to the couch roughly his hands squeeze her wrists tightly leaving marks.

''Its not real your not a husband your just a glorified troll with a fucking trophy wife.'' She wiggles and tries to break free as he crashes his lips to hers roughly and his teeth bit her lips hard she yelps as he shoves his tongue in her mouth his body pressing against her fighting one.

''No Creek please stop that hurts.'' She mumbles in pain.

His phone went off and he shoves Poppy to the floor and answered the phone. ''Yeah ok I'll be there shortly.'' He said in a pleasant tone hanging up and glaring at Poppy who was scared.

''I have to go and tonight I will be staying at a hotel time apart will work and I want you to stay here!'' He growls.

She took her phone and showed him the text he looked at his phone and saw that it was in the unread message he remembered being drunk. ''Oh I'm sorry love I'll check that next time.'' He kisses her lips and left leaving Poppy all scared and hurt.

Creek made it to the yoga studio and went into one of the rooms and saw Karma waiting. ''So I've been waiting and you still haven't rewarded me for not telling Poppy about you and Arianna I'm about to call her and tell her unless you take me out tonight for dinner and give me a raise.'' She said.

''Karma I will take you out tonight please don't tell Poppy.'' He pleaded.

''Why not?'' Karma asked.

''Its non of your business Karma.'' Creek said frowning and went over kissing her shoulder she pulled away.

''You need her because her dad sends you money to help out with the yoga business, and if you and Poppy split there goes all the money and you are also planning on opening up another yoga place only this time its a secret sexual hotel for yoga clients.'' Karma grins.

Creek was shocked. ''H-How do you know-- but besides the only way Poppy can divorce me is if she catches me cheating and she won't.'' He said.

''Unless I tell her but to the first question, easy I pulled your file and you will do as I say or I'll tell Poppy everything, what do you say?'' Karma smirked.
