Today is the day we set up for Senior Prank Night. I woke up to Damon being gone today, and I left him so many messages. I considered not going tonight, but Elena insisted that we still make the most of the night.

I reluctantly agreed, and now I'm standing in the almost entirely empty school. I'm standing with my friends, mouse traps covering the floor of a classroom.

Matt Donovan walks in and sets all of them off. There is a collective groan, and I think we can all agree that we are bummed that our hours of hard work is wasted.

"Oh, come on! Seriously?! Do you know how long it took for us to set all this up?!" Caroline exclaims.

"Forgot about senior prank night, huh?" Tyler teases.

"Clearly," Matt laughs.

"How could you forget? We've only been waiting for this since like freshman year."

I give Matt a playful shove. "Come on, Matt."

"I'm kind of surprised any of you are doing this."

"Caroline's making us," Bonnie says.

"We're about to be seniors. These are the memories that will stay with us forever, and if we don't..."

"And if we don't create these memories now, then what's the point of it all?" Elena finishes.

"Go ahead and make fun of me, I don't care," Caroline sighs.

"You're all lame. And I've got ten more classrooms to prank," Tyler announces.

Elena nods in agreement. She begins to head towards the door. "I'm going to superglue Alaric's desk shut."

"I'll go with you, Ty," I offer.

"Get the faculty toilet seats, and Dana needs bodies in the gym. Let's go."

"Here, I can grab some things from the supply closest," I offer.

Tyler nods and I make my way down the halls. I notice that the lights are dimmed so much that it's almost hard to see. This night has been fun so far, except for the fact that I'm worried about both Salvatore brothers.

I go to open a door, but I gasp when I see Klaus standing in front of me. I attempt to yell for help, but his hand just covers my mouth and his other hand grabs my arm.

"Don't make a sound, sweetheart."

He's dragging me through the hallways as I helplessly try and break free. "What are you doing? What do you want?"

"Well, I've discovered that your doppelgänger friend is still alive. She's being held in the gym, and I need to figure out a solution so I can make more hybrids."
