I arrive at the bonfire, finding Rebekah miserable failing at roasting marshmallows. I sit beside her on the log. "Hey."
She raises an eyebrow. "Juliette. What are you doing here?"
"You looked like you needed a friend," I shrug, dark hair falling down my back. "You really are pretty, Rebekah."
She smiles in surprise, and I begin to feel bad that we're distracting her. Maybe she isn't as bad as Klaus. "Thank you."
I lean forward, grabbing a stick and a marshmallow for myself. "I did want to ask you something though."
"Ask away, I guess."
"How would you feel if I said that I feel something for your brother?" I want to vomit as the words come out. A lie.
Rebekah's eyes widen, her mouth turning in disgust. "For Nik?!" After he kidnapped you twice?"
"I just... he makes me feel something. I don't know why."
Damon suddenly sits down inbetween us and smirks. "Hey, Rosie. Hey, Barbie Klaus."
"What? No friends your own age?" Rebekah scoffs.
"Like you can talk. Anyways, what are we talking about?"
"How Juliette likes my brother."
"She's always had a thing for bad boys," Damon says with a knowing smirk. I roll my eyes.
Rebekah brings the burning marshmallow to her mouth and blows it out. It's burnt.
"Is this supposed to be fun? I've been through 10 of these."
I know that Damon is about to start flirting, so I get up. "I'll leave you two alone."
Damon continues to show her how to roast a marshmallow, and I spot Stefan and Elena watching. The plan is going well.

Sadly enough, we're back at the Salvatore house. Things didn't go quite as planned. The spirit of Vicki Donovan apparently lit the car that Elena was in on fire. Rick's car.
I'm sitting in the living room with Damon, Elena, and Rick when Stefan enters. That fire ruined our entire plan
"You almost got me."
I roll my eyes, heading up to my room. "Go talk to Stefan, Elena."
