Damon and I arrived at the Lockwood mansion. "I'm going to go check on Elena," he tells me.

I'm left watching as a crowd forms around a stage in Tyler's backyard. There's so many people that I've never even seen before in my life. I push my way through the crowd to see what's going on.

I gasp as Klaus appears on the stage. The crowd... cheers?

"Thank you, everyone. It's been a long time coming."

Suddenly, Klaus makes eye contact with me in the crowd. My eyes go wide and I decide that I do not exactly want to reunite him with him. I push my way out of the crowd and begin to run into the mansion. My legs have never carried me faster.

"Are you running from me, love?"

I gasp as I run into Klaus's chest. His hands snake behind my head, his fingers combing through my hair as he breaths in my scent. "Klaus. What the hell are you doing here?"

"I could ask you the same question." He pulls me closer. "Don't think I don't know that something is going on," Klaus whispers.

"I don't know what you're talking about."

Klaus smirks. "Oh, and Rebekah told me something very interesting. That you have feelings for me."

Shit. I did not think she would pass that lie on. Now he'll hold this over my head forever. "It was merely a distraction so we could get to Stefan."

Klaus frowns as it's my turn to smirk. "Aw, I didn't hurt your feelings, did I?"

Klaus scoffs, turning to a man that I don't recognize. "Get my girl a drink, please. And make sure she sits."

I go to protest, but the man grabs me by the arm and forces me onto a chair as a drink is slid in front of me. Klaus sits down at the chair next to mine.

"Who is that?" I ask.

"Just one of my many hybrids. There are plenty of them here, and they all just wish to serve their master. Feel free to tell your friends."

I go to get up, but he places his hand in front of me. "Ah, not yet, love."

"Do you not want to see your father's body?"

"Oh, I will. Stefan will deliver it here."

"No, not here! My friends are here."

"What a shame that I don't care, sweetheart. But I'll tell you this; I don't think what Rebekah told me was a complete lie."

Klaus is getting closer to my face and I'm frozen in place. "What are you talking about?"

"I think that deep down you do feel for me."

I laugh in his face. "You've always been insane, Klaus."

"Only for you, Juliette," he whispers.

A woman comes over and taps him on the shoulder. "You have a visitor."

"I don't care. Can't you see that I'm busy?"

"He says his name is Mikael."

Klaus freezes. I don't know if I've ever seen him frightened like this. "I'll go have a little chat with my dad. Tony, take Juliette elsewhere."

The hybrid grabs my arm and I kick and hit him. "Get off me!"

He throws me into a closest, and when I go to open it, I can't get out. Something is blocking it. I'm missing everything.

The door finally unlocks after many attempts of trying to get it to budge. I'm disappointed when I see Klaus. That means that the plan failed.

"Where's Mikael?"

"Dead," Klaus grins with satisfaction.

"It didn't work," I mumble.

"Yes, now I'm free. My hybrids are free to roam Mystic Falls. You already met Tony."

"God, I hate you."

Klaus smirks. "And I'm also free to pursue you all I want, little one."

I push my way past him. "I'll see you hopefully never, Klaus."

The next morning I'm taking a jog around the neighborhood. Everything seems to be going well until I feel a presence behind me.

When I look back, I spot Tony. The hybrid from last night. I speed up, but somehow he gets in front of me.

"Watch where you're going. What, did Klaus send you to spy on me?"

Tony cocks his head. "I'm going to need you to come with me."

I take my earbuds out, looking him up and down. "And why should I do that?"

His eyes flash yellow and his fangs show and I know I have no choice but to follow him.

For some reason, Tony is going to the Mystic Grill. Of course, I see Klaus sitting down next to Elena and Damon.

"You gonna do this in the Grill? In front of everyone? It's a little beneath you, don't you think?" Damon says.

"I don't know what you are talking about. I just came down to my local pub to grab a drink with a mate." Tony shows up behind him. And then he sees me. "And my lady."

"Get a round in, would you Tony?" Klaus smiles, seeing that Elena and Damon are shocked.

"What are you doing with him?" Damon asks.

"Followed me on my run like a creep and then demanded that I follow him."

"Sorry about that, love. Take a seat."

I groan and take a seat next to Klaus at the bar.

"I'm surprised you stuck around town long enough for happy hour," Damon points out.

"My sister seems to be missing. Need to sort that out."

"Cute blonde bombshell, psycho. Shouldn't be too hard to find."

"Truth is I've grown to rather like your little town. Think I might fancy a home here. Oh I imagine you're wondering how does this is affect you. The answer is: not in the slightest. As long as I get what I want and everyone behaves themselves you can go on living your little lives however you choose. You have my word."

Klaus smirks, turning to me. "Actually, I take that back. It might affect the little one here a bit. Because I know just what I do to her."

I roll my eyes, giving Damon a look that says that's not true. I can already tell that he's going to tease me later.

"What more could you possibly want?" Elena questions.

"Well for starters, you can tell me where I might find Stefan."

"Stefan skipped town the second he saved your ass," Damon chuckles.

"Well you see that is a shame." Klaus throws a dart from his seat and gets a bulls-eye. It whizzes just past my head.

"Your brother stole from me. I need him found so I can take back what's mine."

"That sounds like a Klaus and Stefan problem," I mumble.

Klaus moves in closer. "This is me broadening the scope, sweetheart."
