Liam's POV
I sat befor my council as they argued among themselves, the humans have argued to come to terms with us and surrender, but they need a guarantee.
"What is this guarantee?" I asked my beta who served as the ambassador between the humans and wolves.
"They ask that you, marry one of them, they think that an heir between the humans and wolves would improve and strengthen the treaty," the beta said as tte halls was overthrown by the protest from the Alpha.
"An abomination"
"Impossible "
"We should wipe them off once and for all"
These were some of the words that were exchanged among the Alpha and I sat still listening, as I clenched my fist in anger. This was an insult to me, I wasn't just any Alpha, I was the Alpha king, and to add to that I already had a Queen.
"What the fuck did you say" i grows at as I looked at the Beta who looked at me in fear.
"Alpha king, I know this is hideous and unheard of, but you should think back, the humans had found our weakness and the last battle against them didn't go as planned, many wolves died and humans too, the war as brought us down and the humans continued to grow with they technologies, maybe this could be a solution, for the mean time while we take some time to restore our strength," The beta advised as the halls were filled with murmurs again.
I knew he wa right, I had listed a lots of wolves in the last battle, I don't know how they humans were able to find out our weakness. Was wolf bane, and they in turn used it against us, we have carried on the war for three years but now it's time for a break.
I was mated already, but it wasn't a new thing for an Alpha king to take two mates, but it was done. I didn't have a romantic relationship with Anna, our mate bond was created for diplomacy reason because I haven't found my mate for years.
And now I had to take another mate for the same Diplomacy reason and to add to that a human.
I felt insulted but what Aiden said made a lot of sense maybe agreeing to their terms and rebuilding in secret seemed to be the idea. And restocking or weapons and getting hands on some of human technology should also be considered.
"Fine,we go with Beta Aiden suggestion, I accept the bribe and once we have rebuilt we come back for the humans, but we make the humans belive we have accepted their treaties, and who says the human get to live after a year," i proclaim as sheers filled the room, i was going to marry that petty human and she was going to regret hee life before her end hee life when I'm done with her.
"When is the wedding schedule to hold Aiden?" I asked aiden and he looked at me.
"Tomorrow, Alpha,"he responded and that didn't come as a surfer to me.
"Good, get ready, wr go to the human territory tomorrow," I respond and I stood to my feet and the rest of the Alpha stood along with me, as I walked out.
Soon as I got into my room, I found Anna in my bed, already as I stepped in.
"Alpha dearest," she said seductively as she walked towards me in a gown I would consider to be sexy. Soon as she was close to me she rubbed her hands all over my chest as she smiled at me.
"What are you doing here?"I asked her like I didn't already know, as I raised my eye brows at her.
"Waiting for you of course" she responded as she wink at me.
"I was planning to see you later today, I have an important information to share with you,"i informed her and she smiled as she pressed her body closer to me.
