Liam's POV
I was acknowledged, it's been three days she as been asleep and I haven't gotten a wink of sleep, the only person that was aware I had found my mate was Aiden.
For the first time in my life I was sacred, and vulnerable. I had a human as a mate.
"Alpha," Aiden called as I turned and looked at him,he was currently in her room, while I sat there shopping coffee.
"Aiden, your supper to keep an eye on tte netting," I rolled my eyes at him
"They are asking questions, they think you have developed something for the human as you have been stuck here for twenty fours hours without leaving," he informed me and I sighed.
No one could know o had found my mate, no one, it would cause a massive conflict, and worse she could get hurt.
"Let them talk, she's my mate something I had log for all my ligeX for the first time in a long time I feel fear because I have swim thing so valuable that I LM scared would be taken away from me, I can't leave her it's like " I sighed a she placed a hand on my shoulder.
"I understand, but you have already signed her death warrant, your supposed to kill her after a year, and.." before he could say a word I smashed the table, breaking it as I breathe hard.
I was stupid, and it was the goddess way of punishing me, my fist tighten as I thought of the declaration I had made concerning my mate.
"You may endanger her , if you care for her, you have to keep and show her a cold shoulder till we figure out how to sort this out," Aiden advised and i nobbed he was right.
I couldn't start favouring  all of a sudden it would rise suspicions among my people and council.
I nobbed just as Aiden walked out, I couldn't leave the room she was in, I couldn't held my self. On the second day Aiden return, I was currently working from her room, as I refused to leave, my wolf wouldn't let me.
He sort our maté vulnerability and the fear of her getting hurt was inevitable, they were many enemies in the castle, most of which hated humanity and they would do anything to rip her away from this world.
"Alpha king," Aiden greeted as he bowed a sighed of respect.
"What is it Aiden," asked as I looked up from the document.
"Queen Anna, hee invited you for a breakfast, with her at the dinning," he informed me and I rolled my eyes, I had always had dinner with Anna once in a week, to ease the people I was una .romantic relationship with her.
"Tell her I'm busy,"i dismissed him as he walked away, not long he left I could hear Anna yelling at the front door.
"I demand to speck with my mate at once,"she yelled probably at the guards who stood guard at the door.
"I'm sorry Luna, the Alpha isn't accepting visitors," the men informs her and I got up just in time to open the door.
"What is the meaning of these?" I snapped at Anna just as they all bowed at my presence.
"Your highness, the Luna..." the guards said but I held my hands up in the air as i galred at Anna.
"I am asking you Anna, what is t hee meaning of these?" I snapped at her and I could see her eyes widen.
"I only sorted you, when they refused me entry," she answered and i glared at her.
"What for?" I asked bored and I could se ever eyes meet mine.
"You didn't appear for breakfast I was worried..." I held my hands citing her off.
"You were informed by Beta Aiden, that I ould not be in attendance yet...you disobeyed my instructions," I snapped at her as she looked at me in fear.
"Alpha....it's been days...you have t left her room, you neglected our night yesterday....I visited your quarters you weren't in, you have been here all along," she said I knew where she was going with this and I rolled t eyes.
