"What are you talking about?" I aksed with wide eyes as if not believing what he said, I looked at my mother to see a smirk crawling on her face.
"What your father is trying to say is, Loreen, aren't our kid, your just some orphan which was left in our care, by your a young teenage girl, and since we didn't have anna yet, we raised you  as one of our own,you can tell my the looked" she confirmed as I stumbled back in fear and betrayal while shaking my head, as tears flounder my eyes.
I couldn't believe now I knew from the way they had always treated me and praised anna instead, how they beat and maltreated me at home and praised me in public.
I wasn't their blood and that alone, had me tearing down in tears, he was going  to throw me to the wolves and make the world think I was his daughter, and in so doing he becomes a hero and get more sympathy.
"Your just doing this for more powers aren't you, that's all you care about, power," I yelled out as he reached forward and held my hair
"Watch your tone, you get to be praise to by saving humanity, giving up your life for the people just like those soldiers who died, in the war, is this how you repay me you maggot," he snapped as he punched me in the stomach and I fell to the ground as I wept.
"Get yourself home, and prepare for your wedding tomorrow, and get yourself a beautiful white dress with the money I would give you, and don't try to run away, or else you will regret it," he warned as he  walked out of the door with his wife.
Leaving me with Helen, soon as they left she stood up as she walked toward me.
"Did you know?" I asked as my voice cracked from too much crying.
"You know I was curious why I got a room and you got an attic, I asked and they told me, and I am more than glad, having a sister with blood red hair isn't something I looked forward to ," she chipped as she walked out of the office.
I bawled my eyes out in that damn office for what felt like forever until some lady finally dragged me out to pick a wedding dress that wouldn't make me look like a total disaster in front of wolves
When I got to the store, the staff bombarded me with options. I sat there staring at myself in the mirror - long red hair, pale skin, and creepy green eyes.
I wonder why I didn't see it earlier, there was no way they were related to me, everyone was dark and I was the only one with red hair. Each time I asked I was dismissed, I always thought it was genetics but now I knew.
"I need that dress for the wedding,'' I said for the first time since entering the store.
"But that is a black dress, you have to wear a white dress to the wedding or the president may get angry or worse the Alpha king may feel insulted,"the staff said with widened eyes as she tried to convince me.
"Give me the black dress, this isn't a wedding it's a funeral and I am the celebrant, and I don't give a damn what anyone thinks or says,"I demanded.
