As the car pulled up to the school, students were cheering and holding up signs to welcome us. It felt a little threatening. When the car came to a stop, Jay and Carlos fell out first. "Ow, you got everything else? Why do you want whatever this is?" Carlos whined as he tugged on something he stole. The band that was waiting for us outside looked scared. "Because you want it!" Jay argues back. Evie, Mal, and I exit the car. Jay and Carlos fought as an older woman came walking toward us. "Guys, guys!" Mal mutters. "We have an audience!" She reminds them with a fake attitude. Jay and Carlos look up to see them. Jay scoffs a laugh. "Just cleaning up." He helps Carlos up. "Leave it like you found it," the women hums. "And by that, I mean just leave it." Jay hesitates but reluctantly throws the stolen stuff back into the car. When Jay closed the door, he layed eyes on a student from behind the women. "Hello, foxy," He walks past Mal and over to the girl. "The name's, Jay." He looks her up and down. The student laughed uncomfortably as Jay just stood there and smiled. I hold back a laugh. The older woman lowers her head between the two and smiles. "Welcome to Auradon prep." She says and stands straight. "I'm fairy godmother, head mistress." She does a small bow. "The fairy godmother?" Mal asks intrigued. "As in, 'bibbity, bobbity, boo' ?" Mal swings her hand in the air. "Bibbity, bobbity, you know it." She ensures. Mal stepped closer to Fairy godmother. I linked arms with Evie. She had a big smile on her face; I couldn't help but be happy for her. She turns to look at me. "Oh, your makeup looks spot on today." She observes my features. I give her a light smile. "Thanks." I wisper back. "What about mine?" She asks and poses for me to look. "Fairest in the land." I says with pride. She liked that answer. "I know right!" She squeals. "The door to wisdom are never shut." Fairy godmother throws her hands up. We all jump back. "But the library hours are 8 to 11, and as you may have heard I have a little thing about curfews." She smiles warmly at us. Made me slightly sick. When fairy godmother walked away, the band followed right behind her. Ben walks over to Jay. "It is so good, to finally meet you all." Jay hits him in the chest and Ben stutters. I look down to stop from laughing. Ben shook Mal's hand and they made eye contact. We all felt suspicious by that. "This is a momentous occasion." Ben says as he looks away from her. "And one that I hope will go down in history." He shakes Carlos's hand and licked his own finger. He laughs a little. "Chocolate?" Carlos stays quiet. "As a day our two people begins to heal." He shakes Evie and my hand and smiles. "Or the day, where you showed five peoples where the bathrooms are.." Mal says with a attitude. Ben laughed at her remark. "A little bit over the top?" He asks her. Jay looks over at me. "What is this?" He was talking about how Ben was being a little bit more 'friendlier' to Mal then the rest of us. I shrug my shoulders. "Hospitality?" I answer. Jay scoffs a laugh. The other girl started to talk to Mal. I looked to Carlos. Do you have any more of the candy?" I wisper to him. He pulls out a sucker. I take it from him and open the wrapper. I drop it on the ground and pop the sucker into my mouth. It tasted like an apple but not the rotten kind. I can't tell if I like it or not. I look over and hear Mal and Audrey laugh together. However, it wasn't the friendly kind. In fact, I have never heard of more of a fake laugh. Ben looked uncomfortable. Ben clapped his hands. "Ok, how about a tour?" We all look back at him. "Yeah?" We started to follow him and Audrey. Ben started to explain the whole boring history of Auradon prep. We all stared at beast statue. Ben clapped his hands twice and the king's statue actually turned into a beast. In fear, Carlos jumped into Jay's arms. "Carlos, it's ok. My father wanted his statue to change from beast to man to reminds us that, anything is possible." Ben explains. Evie and I nod while our arms are still linked. "Does he shed much?" Mal asks Ben. "Yeah, mom won't let him on the couch." Ben says with a serious look. I didn't know the students here knew sarcasm. Jay dropped Carlos's legs and detached his arms. Carlos stood their staring at the statue as we walk away. When we entered the school. Evie's excitement only fumed. "So, you guys have a lot of magic here in Auradon? Like wands, and things like that." Could she really be this oblivious. "Yeah, it exists, of course. But it's pretty much retired." Ben answers her. "Most of us here are just, ordinary mortals." Mal puts her hands on her hips. "Who, happened to be kings and queen" Mal rolls her eyes. "That's true, our royal blood goes back hundreds of years." Audrey puts Ben's arm over her shoulder as she finishes. Jay looks over at me. "Mal is going to eat her alive." He wispers to me. "Not before she gets the wand." I mock back in a wisper. He smirks at my remark. "Doug, Doug come down." Ben calls for one of the band mates to come over to us. He walks down the stairs. "This is Doug, he is going to help you with class schedules and show you the rest of the dorms." Ben explains. "Dorms!" Evie squeals in a wisper. Ben walks up closer to Mal. "I will see you later. Ok?" He asks what seems to be only her... "If there's anything you need, feel free to ask -" Before Ben could finish, Audrey interrupted. "Doug." Someone jealous. I smirked. Mal and Audrey shared another fake laugh. Audrey pulls Ben away from us. "Hey guys." Doug greets us. We all turn our attention to him. "I'm dopey's son. As in: Dopey, Doc, Bashful, Happy, Grumpy, Sleepy, and..." He couldn't remember the rest. Mostly because his attention turned to Evie. "Hi-ho," He wispers. Evie looked at me and I let go of her arm. She walked over to him. "Evie, Evil Queen's daughter." She says seductively. He wasn't sure how to take her. He shook his head and looked back down at his clipboard. "So, about your classes, I uh, put in the requirements already." I walk over to Evie's side and place my chin on her shoulder. Mal went to the other side to listen. "He started to explain our classes. They all sounded boring; I didn't really listen. "C'mon guys, let's go find our dorms." Mal leads us. We all follow her up the stairs. When Doug finally came back to his sad reality, he stopped us. "Your dorms are this way guys." He points in the opposite direction. We all stop and run back down the stairs. Doug was repeating all his uncles and dad's names. "Sneezy." Carlos finishes for him.
