I don't remember when I fall asleep again, but when I wake up, I have a headache pounding in my temples. The morning light filters through the curtains, casting a soft glow across my room. I groan, turning over to check the time on my phone. Panic grips me as I realize I'm late for class.

"Great, just great," I mutter to myself, forcing my aching body out of bed. I feel feverish, my skin clammy and hot to the touch. Ignoring the dizziness, I manage to throw on some clothes and grab my bag, rushing out of my room.

As I stumble into the living room, I freeze. Tighnari and Cyno are sitting on the couch, both looking up at me with worried expressions.

"Finally awake, huh?" Cyno says, raising an eyebrow. "We've been trying to reach you all morning."

"I- I'm fine," I stammer, trying to sound convincing. "Just overslept."

"Really?" Tighnari asks, standing up and walking over to me. Seems like he didn't knew what happened last night. He places a hand on my forehead, his brow furrowing. "You're burning up. Why didn't you answer our calls or messages?"

"I... I must have missed them," I say weakly, knowing it's a lame excuse.

Tighnari sighs, exchanging a glance with Cyno. "We were worried. That's why we used the spare key."

I try to protest, but Cyno cuts me off. "Sit down. You look like you're about to collapse."

"I'm really fine, I swear," I insist, but my legs betray me, wobbling as I try to take a step forward. Cyno catches me, guiding me to the couch.

"Yeah, you look fine," he says sarcastically. "Just sit down and let us take care of you."

I reluctantly sit down, the room spinning around me. Tighnari disappears into the kitchen, returning with a glass of water and some fever medicine. "Take these," he orders gently, handing them to me.

I swallow the pills, sipping the water. "You really don't have to-"

"Enough," Tighnari interrupts, his voice firm but kind. "We're your friends. Let us help."

I nod, too exhausted to argue anymore. Cyno grabs a blanket, draping it over my shoulders. "You need to rest," he says. "We'll take care of everything else."

"But my classes..." I mumble, my eyes growing heavy. No, no, no, no. If I fall asleep now...

"We'll handle it," Cyno assures me. "Just focus on getting better."

As I lean back against the couch, a mix of gratitude and fear washes over me. I know the two are just trying to be kind, but I'm so scared of falling asleep. But despite that, I feel a sense of relief knowing that I'm not alone.

I mumble a few incoherent sentences, attempting to stay awake due to the fear gripping my heart. Tighnari and Cyno exchange worried glances, clearly noticing my struggle.

"Hey, it's okay", Tighnari says gently, sitting down next to me. "We'll be right here. You're safe."

Cyno nods in agreement. "If you need anything, just let us know. We're not going anywhere."

I try to respond, but my eyelids are unbearably heavy. Despite the fear and the lingering dread of the nightmare, my body demands rest. I sink further into the couch, the blanket soft and comforting around me.

"Stay awake... please," I whisper, my voice barely audible.

"We're here", Tighnari repeats softly, his hand resting reassuringly on my shoulder. "Just rest."
