Chapter 25

"Tighnari, NARIIII!!" I shout, my voice carrying across the campus, ignoring the curious glances from the students nearby. My excitement propels me forward, and as soon as Tighnari turns around, I practically leap at him, my arms flying around his shoulders. The impact causes him to stumble back into Cyno, who just manages to catch the both of us.

"Whoa, easy there!" Tighnari laughs, hugging me back with a playful squeeze. "What's gotten into you?" His eyes are bright, curious, clearly amused by my sudden burst of energy.

I take a deep breath, grinning so wide I can barely contain myself. "You won't believe what happened," I whisper excitedly, leaning in closer as if sharing the biggest secret in the world.

Tighnari raises an eyebrow, his interest clearly piqued. "Oh? What's got you this worked up?"

Cyno, standing beside us with his arms crossed and an intrigued expression, chimes in. "If you're this hyper, it must be something big."

I take a moment to compose myself, but the grin stays glued to my face. "Okay, okay, so you know how I've been confused about Sethos for, like, forever, right?"

Tighnari exchanges a knowing look with Cyno before nodding, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Yeah, you've mentioned it a few times," he teases, knowing that this is the biggest lie ever.

"A few times?" Cyno smirks. "More like every time we see you."

"Whatever!" I wave them off impatiently. "Anyway, last night... it finally happened."

Tighnari's eyes widen, and Cyno's smirk deepens. "Finally happened?" Tighnari echoes, his voice filled with curiosity.

I nod, barely able to keep still. "We kissed."

Tighnari's jaw drops, and Cyno actually uncrosses his arms, his eyebrows shooting up. "What?" Tighnari asks, his voice a mix of surprise and delight. "You and Sethos... kissed?"

I nod again, a blush creeping up my cheeks as I recall the memory. "It was after that whole confusing mess with Isabella... I was upset, and he found me, and... we just talked, you know? We laid everything out there, and then it happened. We kissed. And it wasn't just some casual kiss, it felt like everything we'd been holding back finally came out."

Tighnari's face breaks into a grin, his eyes sparkling with excitement for me. "I can't believe it!" He exclaims, his voice full of genuine happiness. "I knew something was going on between you two, but I didn't think it would finally happen this soon!"

"Neither did I," I admit, still feeling like I'm floating from the night before. "And it wasn't just the kiss... We talked after. About our feelings, about everything. He told me he loves me, Nari. He actually said the words!"

Tighnari gasps dramatically, and even Cyno can't hide his surprise, his eyes widening for a brief second before his usual composed expression returns. "Sethos actually said that?" Cyno asks, clearly impressed. "Wow."

"I know, right?" I laugh, still in disbelief. "It was surreal. And then we spent the night just... being close. It felt so natural, like we'd crossed this invisible line we'd been dancing around forever."

Tighnari's grin softens into something more sincere as he pulls me into another hug. "I'm so happy for you," he says quietly, his voice full of affection as he places a kiss on my forehead. "I know how much this has meant to you." 

I squeeze him back, my heart swelling with gratitude. "Thanks, Nari. It feels like everything's finally falling into place."

As we pull apart, Cyno tilts his head slightly, a thoughtful look crossing his face. "So, what now? You two are together?"
