AUTHOR'S POV:
The right people will not only bring out the best in you but will also stand by your side, ready to face the world with you. They will bring light into your life and help you bloom.
Friendship is one of the purest and most beautiful things in the world, whether in fiction or reality. If you have even one true friend, they will stand by you against the whole world, through both good times and bad.
For Dhruv, that one true friend was Sameer. Sameer always stood by Dhruv's side despite always irritating him, joking, and fooling around. Among his friends, Sameer was the closest and most special to Dhruv.
He'd be there when Dhruv needed him and even at times when he wasn't needed, often showing up at the most inconvenient moments. But he'd be there nonetheless.
Though Vishal was also a best friend to Dhruv, the bond he shared with Sameer was truly unique.
Whenever Dhruv asked Sameer for help, Sameer was always there at the forefront, without question. Despite his busy schedule and work commitments, he gave all his available time.
And when Dhruv needed help to untangle himself from the invisible grasp of Natasha, he knew Sameer was the right person for the job. Sameer was not only capable but the only one who could truly help him.
Even though Vishal was a lawyer and could have offered legal assistance, Dhruv didn't seek his help because he knew he wouldn't fully trust him in this situation. His doubts were confirmed when Vishal blamed him for cheating on his sister, proving that Sameer was indeed the right person for the task.
When Dhruv asked Sameer to leave him alone, Sameer didn't hesitate. He quickly made his way to Hotel Olive, knowing exactly what needed to be done. This was the place where Natasha had deceitfully summoned Dhruv, setting a trap that had left him entangled in a web of trouble. Sameer knew that the key to untangling Dhruv from Natasha's grasp lay in uncovering the truth about what had happened that day.
Upon arriving at the hotel, Sameer approached the reception desk with a determined look. He requested to speak with the manager, explaining that he needed access to the security footage from when Natasha called Dhruv there. His request was met with skepticism, but Sameer's unwavering resolve and insistence on the importance of the matter eventually convinced the staff to cooperate.
The manager, after verifying Sameer's credentials and ensuring that he had legitimate reasons for accessing the footage, led him to the security office. Sameer patiently waited as the staff sifted through the archives, locating the specific date and time frame he had mentioned.
Sameer watched intently as the footage began to play, hoping to find clear evidence of Natasha's deceit. He knew that this was the proof Dhruv needed to free himself from her manipulative hold. With each passing second, Sameer's focus remained unbroken, his mind racing through possible outcomes and the impact this evidence could have on Dhruv's situation.
Finally, the crucial moment appeared on screen. Sameer watched as Natasha entered the hotel and took the lift, which led to the floor accessing the terrace. The terrace area was brightly lit. About forty-five minutes later, Sameer saw Dhruv rushing towards the lift, only to find it already closed. Dhruv then hurriedly took the stairs, his restlessness evident.
When Dhruv finally stepped out of the lift onto the floor leading to the terrace, he stepped on a piece of paper, likely a photo. Picking it up, Sameer saw the color drain from Dhruv's face. As Dhruv continued towards the terrace, he picked up each photo along the way, each one causing his face to pale further.
Sameer focused on the terrace footage. Natasha was seen standing in a corner, typing something on her phone with a concentrated expression. At the same time, another monitor displayed Alia getting out of her car and pulling out her phone, seemingly replying to a text. The synchronicity of their actions caught Sameer's attention. Natasha put her phone away just as Alia opened hers. This precise timing suggested a connection between the two, possibly indicating that Natasha had lured Alia into the hotel. However, Alia seemed happy and excited, unlike Dhruv, who appeared worried.
