The air was thick with tension as three figures stood by the carcass of the Dragon King. A man and two women, their presence commanded the attention of everyone around. The onlookers took multiple steps back, realizing exactly who stood around the body of their beloved king.

Harley, her cheeks still stained with the blood of her husband, reached out to touch the cold scales of Janus. She couldn't believe it at first. He was the strongest beast man, indestructible, someone who should not have died so easily. So why was his body so cold? She knelt by his side, kissing his beautiful purple scales, feeling the absence of his familiar warmth. She had often complained about his heat, but now she wished for nothing more than to feel it again. With no tears left to shed, she stood, rage building within her as she looked at Kaladin and then at the woman with her husband's blood on her sword.

There was only one answer now.

"I have warned you, Kaladin," she said, her naturally quiet voice carrying across the city, ringing in everyone's ears. "Again and again, I have warned you."

Hadassah did not dare take her eyes off the woman before her. Harley was a legend she had only heard of through word of mouth, and yet here she was, in the flesh. Hadassah's palms became sweaty, despite her newly awakened scroll, she was unsure of just how powerful this woman was.

"Now because of you, Janus is gone. I suppose you are happy now. You are insufferable and insistent. So tell me, are you happy now?" Harley's voice was steady, but her words were laced with venom.

Kaladin's lack of response made Hadassah feel he was scared too. The woman's golden locks began to rise despite the lack of wind.

"You are insistent on getting in my way. Do you really think you have the right to stand next to me?" Harley's voice grew colder.

Hadassah felt the atmosphere shift instantly and realized the corpse beneath her began to move. She jumped back quickly, steadying herself as she watched the large dragon's muscles relax and its body rise from the ground. Its split form began to reassemble—muscle joining muscle, bone to bone, skin to skin. Hadassah watched in disbelief as the corpses of the dead rose, their empty eyes now staring at her. She finally looked at Kaladin, wondering if he had known all along the true power of the Queen of Debauchery.

She hated to admit it, but she was scared.

She had never been afraid to face Drucilla, Zeus, or even Janus. But here, in this moment, facing a being that was so much more, she couldn't imagine surviving. Was she meant to keep killing the corpses over and over again?

When she finally saw Kaladin's expression, her heart dropped. That bastard was... smiling?

Maybe she had gotten in the middle of something she couldn't understand. Why was he so obsessed with this woman that even now, he looked at her as if to say, 'This is the woman I married.' Was he truly mentally unwell?

Harley didn't waste time. She pointed at Hadassah and Kaladin, and the bodies of thousands charged at them while the dragon bowed to let her climb onto its large head.

Hadassah looked at the mass coming towards her, the ferals fighting ran. This was too much even for beasts like them. Hadassah gripped her sword, taking her stance. It was do or die, and she couldn't die. She prepared to charge, but before she could, she felt her body yanked off the ground. She looked up, confused, only to see the sea dragon.

"Rahn?!" she called out in shock, realizing this was his true form. He looked absolutely massive.

Hearing her recognize him instantly made him so happy he nearly opened his mouth to speak.

"You look so big! Oh my!" Hadassah exclaimed, awe-struck by his size and strength.

At her words, Rahn's heart swelled with pride. He kept her safely in his grasp as he ascended higher, away from the immediate danger below.
