I needed Aiden for the plan. I thought that it would seem more believable if I brought him to "show my house, my life". Because even if Dad had told me I was free to do whatever I wanted, there was no chance that he wouldn't let me do it without having someone to supervise, spy on me. Then it was better to count that in the plan from the beginning. And I thought I could use my brother for that, as he'd said that he liked Hector as little as I did. I hoped that we could work together, beat him together.

That was my plan.

A small part of me also hoped that he could become a part of the family, for good. I hoped, because if what I've heard from Aiden was true, Hector hadn't been a good father at all. Not now, or when Aiden had been a little boy. And I knew how he'd treated Nico. They had the right to get their justice. Their revenge. They had the right to punish Dad for what he'd exposed them for. More right than I had.

I searched my way through the halls, got help from Nico—who now had made it a habit to follow me wherever I went—with finding Aiden's dormitory. The door was wide-open. There he stood, with bare torso and the back toward us. But he knew I was there.

"Dear sister," he said, "what have I done to get such a nice visit when I've clearly spent my time in here so as not to be disturbed?" I could almost hear the smile that had spread over his face,

"I need your help," was the only thing I answered with.

"So if I understand correctly... You want the two of us—" He was interrupted by Nico who protested by barking low. Aiden gave him a look and rolled his eyes. "Sorry, the three of us. Do you mean that the three of us—the three of us—shall overthrow Father? Alone?"

"That's exactly what I mean, dear brother," I said, now insecure of weather he really would agree to help. But I didn't need to be that long, as it didn't even seem like he considered his decision.

"I'm in." He looked at me. "Tell me about the plan, dear sister."
