New Club

After collecting my luggage, I head straight to my new apartment. I had decorated it online and it was already furnished and ready to go. After waiting for nearly an hour for a taxi, I arrive at my apartment. I unlock the door and admire the beautiful, home-like feeling. I head straight to my room and unpack all of my belongings.

Soon enough, I changed into some basic but nice clothes as I needed to officially sign my contract.

London was a beautiful place. As we drove through the city, I admired the cafes, landmarks and buildings. There was thousands of people. It was amazing to see. Eventually, we arrived at the Arsenal WFC training centre where I would meet with Jonas the head coach and discuss contracts.

As I enter, I am immediately met with a young man at a desk.
"Oh! You must be YN, pleasure to meet you!" The young man says shaking my hand.
"My names Peter, I work in the adminstration at Arsenal." He says smiling.
"Great to meet you Peter, I'm sure I'll be seeing you a lot!" I reply happily.
"Do you happen to know where I find Jonas's office?" I ask quietly.
"Absolutely! Follow me," he says. I follow him down the corridor through to a large door with the name Jonas written on a large silver plate.
"Good luck!" He says smiling.

I knock on the door and am greeted by a tall man.
"Hello YN! Great to finally meet you. I just have a few things to discuss before you sign the official contract!" He says excitedly.
I listen intensely to the contract guide lines and rules. They are really simple and basic rules to follow. I was offered a 2 year contact with Loan available and an option to extend. I signed the paper and shook his hand politely. I thanked him for this opportunity.
He then handed me a large bag full of arsenal kit and a map of the training centre.
"Training begins at 1 on the field and there will be a simple gym session afterwards. Make sure you are ready to meet the team by 12:30" He says smiling.
'Thanks Jonas, very appreciated." I say walking out of his office.

I enter the locker and boot room. I change into my training kit and begin sorting through my items. I put a photo of my family in my locker then packed it away neatly. As I locked the locker, I was greeted by a Tall blonde woman.

"Oh! Hello!" Says the woman.
"Hi! I'm YN, I signed this morning," I say smiling.
"Great to meet you! I'm Leah." She replies.
I nearly drop my boots.
"You are THE Leah Williamson?" I ask stunned.
"I certainly am," She giggles.
Leah begins to change into her kit. Soon enough, Beth and Viv entered the locker room and greeted me. I couldn't wait to see Caitlin's face when she walked in.
Soon enough, I had met most of the team, still no sign of Caitlin.
As I go to sit down, I hear a familiar giggle travelling towards the locker room. Caitlin walks in and her face lights up. She runs to me and wraps her arms and legs around me embracing me into a hug.
"ROBERTSON, IS THAT REALLY YOU?" she yells into the hug.
"It certainly is Foordy," I reply.
Her face was stunned. She didn't believe I actually signed.
We have a short conversation before someone else walks in.

"Hell- who are you?" Says the brunette woman. She had a really thick Irish accent. It was so cute.
"I'm YN, YN Robertson, I just signed," I reply calmly.
"Great to meet you, I'm Katie...McCabe!" Says the Irish girl.
She was gorgeous. I couldn't lie. Her accent was attractive and her body was very toned and fit. We held eye contact for a few seconds before Katie continued getting ready for Training.

Eventually, it became 1pm. We headed out to the field. We started with Partner drills. I went with Caitlin and we chatted and warmed up. Then we did some shooting and a quick game to finish off the training.
After training was finished, Katie made a short announcement.
"Hey, Uh guys.. my partner and I ended things a few days ago and I need somewhere to live. Would anyone happen to be able to let me move in?"
She asked nervously. Nobody spoke.
"Stay with me," I blurted out. She nodded and thanked me for my helping her.

After a short gym session, I headed to the lockers and packed up my gear. I waited patiently for Katie so I could driver her home.
"Party at Mine and Viv's to welcome YN tonight everyone!" Beth yells. Everyone agreed and happily said yes. Eventually, Katie came and packed her bags.
"I'll take you home," I said smiling.
