Once in a while
You get the one person
Who would stay no matter what
But not him
He took on a heavy fabric
To cloud all his senses
Day by day
He shaded all the lights2
They kept shouting,
Their bad advice,
With loud sounds system
though out the whole surrounding
Paint his sky with black
And clouding his space
He tries to fight the darkness
But he drowns3
He drowned in their words,
Lost in the noise,
Ignoring the truth
That his heart's choice
Was clearer than any
Advice they could give,
But he chose to live
In the shadows they cast.4
Their opinions,
A cage around his mind,
As he buried his wishes
In thoughts left behind.
Day after day,
The fabric grew thick,
Blinding his vision
With every new stitch.
