After sometime she stood up, left her bag behind on a bookstore chair and headed to the door.

She open the door and the sound of the rain got louder as she moves.

Stepping outside, the rain greeted her like an old friend, its cold embrace a stark contrast to the warmth she had just left behind. Sangeeta paused on the footpath, her breath visible in the chilled air. She tilted her head back, allowing the rain to kiss her face, each drop a delicate caress.

"I used to love this as a child," she murmured softly. "It's been too long since I let myself revel in the rain."

Her clothes, now fully saturated, clung to her skin, and her curly hair was plastered to her face.
Raindrops were pattering on her head to shoulders, she closes her eyes, letting the rain wash over her, a soft smile forming on her face. The rain continues to pour, as she stands there, lost in the moment.

Suddenly the door of the bookstore creaked open behind her. She blinked and turned to see a man standing there, holding her bag with one hand and a blue umbrella with the other.

His face was a study in mixed emotions-curiosity, concern, and something she couldn't quite place. His greyish eyes sparkled with a kind of quiet intensity, and for a moment, time seemed to slow down around them.

Their eyes locked, and in that fleeting instant, the world around them seemed to blur of blues and grays. The world seemed to pause, and the only thing she could focus on was him.

He was very handsome, with attractive features and an air of effortless charm. His greyish eyes, deep and intense, sparkled with a mix of determination and something softer. He moved closer, and Sangeeta noticed he was around 6 feet tall, with slightly tanned skin that contrasted with his black shirt and pants. His presence was commanding yet gentle, and as he stood near her, she felt her heart race, each beat echoing in the silent space between them.

Unable to grasp the full reality of the situation, she looked away briefly, trying to steady her racing heart.

He held out the umbrella and her bag, his expression serious yet tender.
"Here, take it," he said, his voice carrying a mix of frustration and something softer.

Sangeeta's heart skipped a beat.
"Excuse me?"

"Take it. You're completely soaked," he insisted.

Still processing his words, she hesitated. "But what you will do if you give me your..."

Before she could finish, he pressed the umbrella and her bag into her hands. There was a brief, electric touch as their fingers brushed, sending a shiver down her spine. Then, without another word, he turned and started to walk away.

"Wait!" Sangeeta called out, her voice trembling with a mix of surprise and longing.

He glanced back over his shoulder, his eyes meeting hers for a heartbeat before he was off, running into the rain once more.

Sangeeta stood there, the umbrella now in her grasp, her heart aching with a sweet, lingering sensation. The storm continued to pour around her, but the memory of his handsome face and fleeting presence warmed her heart.
