BRAM
I'm the first one to stand up. I placed the book back on the shelf, and I walked towards the hallway.
I called for my power and built the shadow portal. Is a short teleportation to the back exit. We should have no inconvenience.

The first one to cross the portal was Thiago, I went in last.
When we reached the street, the van came to us, completely empty. I look at Sahara. She was the one controlling it.
- You are driving, Bram.- she said, tossing the keys at me.
Everybody climbed in, and we left.
- Bram, - Sahara said to me. We were sitting next to each other. - I need you to drive until we reach the Central highway. There, take the west exit.-
She turned around and spoke to Venus.
- V, when we reach the border with Mirr, I need you to build a thick fog until we are done crossing the desert. The port is one hour from Mirr. - she spoke to us all - We should blend in well with the rest of the traffic with this van. If everything goes well, we should be arriving at the port of Asha by sundown. There are snacks and drinks in the back, where V is sitting. I also brought some magazines and the newspaper, if you want to read. I recommend you all to sleep, if you can. The sailing to the Exodus Lands will be long, an all-night journey. And after that I can't grant you we will have time to rest. -

The van Sahara got is perfect. Is big enough to fit eleven passengers. It blends perfectly with every other delivery van in the city.
-You did great with this van.- I told her.
- It was the first one I could take. - she said, and I know what she meant with take.
- So, is a stolen van? - I asked her
- No, and yes. It belongs to my family. They don't know I took it, and by the time they find out we are gone, the van will be back in the capital. I have someone coming to pick it up tonight. Don't worry.- I was worried anyway.
I trust Sahara with my life. She is the reason we are all together. And now, she is the one saving our lives.
She is always there for us. Always risking everything to defend us, to keep us united and safe. Since we were kids, she was like that.
I remember visiting Innanty for the festivities. All I have are dear memories of my time with her.
When we reunited at the university, she was the one always organizing dinners and parties and making excuses to get us all together.
With time, we became a family. She teached us to build our mental wards and how to keep them up at all times.

If we have to face a war, I'm honored to do it with and for this people. My friends.
